The location is amazing, just 30 meters to the main entrance to the Rosenborg castle. The hotel had an overhaul recently and changed its name from Christian IV to Petra, actually it was an issue that generated me some confusion, but after sending an email they clarified me the situation

The rooms do not have AC just heating. An easy solution is to keep the windows opened, but on weekends the street could be very noissy. They do not offer a breakfast buffet, just a la carte. The quality of the food is great, but if you are in a rush, this option is not convenient due to the wait.

This hotel was really the best choice for visiting Copenaghen, they were actually under renovation but they told us very on time and they did their best to make us feel comfortable and replace all the services missing. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel was in the best position for visiting everything, 8 minutes walking from two metro stations and right behind the royal park and rosenborg castle!

If I really have to find something to say the bed was really uncomfortable ma I think that we are just used to different types of beds, for the rest everything was perfect and I really recommend it!!

The hotel is in a great location and has good value for the price. The staff is friendly and the room is newly renovated. In fact, renovations were ongoing during my stay (17 days). The hotel and room are very clean and tastefully furnished, albeit rather plain and monochromatic. The beds are comfortable. However, I am a solo, senior traveller, and had asked for a double bed. Instead, I got two singles, pushed together, with two separate mattress toppers and two single duvets. So I essentially had to sleep in one of two small single beds for 17 nights! Not ideal! The bathroom is nicely done with the latest gold coloured fixtures. The only comments there are that the sink is very small and there is very little shelf room for toiletries, creams, makeup, or a hairdryer. And I noticed no safety electrical outlet near the sink. I travel a lot throughout Europe, so these observations are important to me. Lastly, the floor tiles are in fact wall tiles, used on the floor, and get quite slippery when wet, especially in the shower. That's a hazard for seniors. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, based on cleanliness, location and price. Although it's right in the centre of Copenhagen, it's on a very quiet street. It's excellent value for the money!

The bed. I had asked for a double and got 2 singles.

My room was very spacious and comfortable, the windows were not to the Main Street it was calm and quiet. The bed was super comfortable, everything was clean, new. The Bathroom was not only clean, new but fashionable. Overall I can say for the 4 stars it gives you somewhat more. I loved my stay, my room. I would stay there again when travel to Copenhagen. absolute price value combination. The location is near the center and the main sightseeing point, you travel by foot everywhere. I am very satisfied.

The breakfast was overpriced.

So firstly, the staff at reception spoke perfect English and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and i found the mattresses incredibly comfy. I had better nights sleep here than i often do at home! The bathroom was large too and the hot water was instant and in good supply. They let us use the luggage room for the whole day after we'd checked out and our flight was 10pm so that saved us carrying our luggage around the city all day.

The only thing i found was that the room, although it was completely clean, it looked liked the cleaner had forgotten to hoover/vacuum the floor. It wasn't dirty, just some crumbs and small particles on the floor. But realistically, it didn't affect our stay so still a thumbs up.

Room was very affordable and gave me and my two young boys exactly what we wanted for our two night stay. Hotel staff was excellent and responded quickly. The location for the cost was amazing. Although: Must add that there were quirks, like TV not working, which was not a problem + the hotel is about to undergo renovation. So everything was a bit worn - but again, for the price we paid, and the fun that we had, it was excellent and staff very helpful.

Breakfast was pants - at best lukewarm, when one would expect hot. However, we could have made other choices locally, but choose to have it on the second morning too. Breakfast was charged extra. I decided not to challenge it as we were very happy with the room and location + when we wanted to eat our own brought in evening meal. Staff went out of their way to get us plates and cutlery.

Everything. The location is perfect. The hotel is really cosy, especially the downstairs area. They provide free coffee and tea at all times. Even had a wine night each night where we could have a free glass of wine between 5-7pm. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Use of umbrellas was a nice touch (we really needed them when we were there!!) Also a big luggage room to store bags on arrival / departure days. Room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfy. Iron, safe, extra pillows & towels. Everything you need for a lovely stay. Couldn’t fault it.

Comfortable bed, great sized bathroom. Clean, fabulous location close to Rosenborg Castle and gardens. Good breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff. Loved the 24/7 tea and coffee, and the 5-7pm happy hour.

Our room was next to stairs, so when being used, (rarely most people used the lift). There was a bit of noise. .

Amazing location. Just opened new hotel in the center of the city. Good price / quality matter. Cosy, stylish and definitely great for short and long stay.

Rooms are bit too tiny, and no water and fridge in the room.

Our location, the room setup, the cozy-ness of the hotel and history, bicycle rental was more than reasonable when compared to the share programs. Not sure why many people gave a negative review on the bed. It was perfectly fine and not just a mattress topper, but also a fully coil mattress design for the lower section which is common in Europe countries and unlike North America and other countries that use a mattress and a hard base which can be very uncomfortable!!

The elevator was very small (smallest in the world I have seen!) but goes with the history of the building. The wifi stopped working for a bit, but the host managed to reboot the router and it worked again
