Scandic Front is a perfect location for those wanting to explore Copenhagen. It is right on the water and walkable to all the iconic landmarks, churches, palaces, and shopping. Only one block from Nyhavn, which boasts many restaurants and stores. Parking was very easy and the room was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heated bathroom floor was an added bonus. Breakfast each morning had a variety of options, including a vegan area, which we appreciated since we like to eat plant based. A superb place to stay in such an incredible city!

The eco policy of ‘on request only ‘ room cleaning and make-up is understandable -but, I think causes some maintenance short-comings - our room was somewhat ‘tired ‘ with a non-functioning basin pop-up and a dangling bedside spotlight ( room 103 that is ) . Also we’ve become used to a small room fridge - absent here. And finally who , at fit-out , positioned the room safe 10-15cm from floor level ? At 75 years of age , I didn’t relish lying flat on my face to key in the digital code ( getting it wrong on one occasion , necessitating a rescue by reception . Notwithstanding the above , we recommend the Scandic Front . From a UK perspective we’d rate the hotel as more like a ‘Premier Inn’ than a ‘4 star’

The location was the best in town! We were able to walk to almost all our destinations. There is a bus stop right outside the front doors. We also rented bikes from the hotel and enjoyed a bike ride to the beach! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The family room was spacious with a beautiful deck. The daily breakfast is the same every day, but it is still delicious with many great options. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Would have been nice to have a set of drawers to unpack a bit, but it was a very minor inconvenience.

The location is brilliant, and the bar adjacent the waterfront worked well. having a balcony was good, however this may have come at the expense of the size of the room, which we thought was too small for the price paid.

The shower was defective, not allowing full flow to either outlet and having both on at the same time, with reduced flows to each. The breakfast area is too small to serve all customers, necessitating spill over into an adjacent lounge space. The coffee in dispensing jugs was not monitored by staff and ended up being cold.

Location is great. The hotel is literally situated a stone throw away from Nyhavn. The hotel benefits that there is a bus stop literally outside which makes commuting very easy in to town and train station within 5min walk as well. As mentioned the location is great to explore Nyhavn well. Breakfast had a decent spread which is always a bonus and staff accommodating especially when we needed to leave early and provided take away box and coffee cups.

The rooms are bit dark and slightly dated. Would benefit from a makeover especially bathrooms.

Location is something we booked this hotel for and no complaints about location. We stayed in 2 different rooms as I had to book additional days last minute. They offered us to use the luggage room for free when we had to switch rooms. View from our initial double rooms wasn’t great but the most expensive rooms for later had street view which was nice. Rooms are great size compared to many of the hotels i considered. Staff are helpful including the kitchen staff and parking is convenient.

Double rooms were basic, the sofa beds are terrible, please upgrade your sofa beds as we had bad back after staying 4 days - very disappointing that even the most expensive rooms at this hotel had the worst sofa bed. Of the 2 double rooms we booked one had fridge the other didn’t, the premium rooms we booked did not have kettle, bathroom floor heating wast working.

It was close to many things we were told to see. The neighborhood was great. The included breakfast was unexpectedly outstanding. It was way more than we thought it would be in terms a food selection and variety. While the room was an “economy” product, it was plenty big, the bed was comfortable, there was a sitting chair and a desk and chair. Storage was decent and the bathroom was large. The baggage storage on checkout was simple to use and inexpensive. The staff was very helpful.

Spacious room with some nice additional facilities. Fantastic location, close to the metro station Kongens Nytorv (direct line from the airport), if you like walking, you can reach a big amount of attractions by foot. Perfect breakfast with a huge variety of warm and cold, sweet and salty food and up until 10:30. Check-out time at 12:00.

Just a few minor things. The room and the whole hotel was a bit cold. The water pressure in the bathroom was very weak. One additional thing: as of November 20024, the hotel is being renovated to get and upgrade, we stayed there for the weekend so it didn't concern us at all, but it might be noisy on weekdays as the work starts at 8:00 in the morning.

It is a Scandic Hotel, so you get what you expect! Clean and comfy with all necessary amenities, but nothing extra. We were upgraded to a waterfront room, which was nice. There is also a convenient public parking next to the hotel. Driving there from the motorway was easy. Besides it's in walking distance of the Royal palaces, Nyhavn restaurants and city center.

There was no bar or lounge in the hotel. Drinks and snacks were available in fridges in the lobby. The elevators were rather small. Might be difficult with large pieces of luggage. The hotel showed some wear and tear.

The location of this property is unmatched, right by nyhavn and the river, but far enough away that you won’t be disturbed by noise at night. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had - so much choice, from hot and cold options!

The rooms air conditioning did not work, we came on a warm weekend so would’ve appreciated a break from the heat especially at night so therefore had to have our door/window open all night which made it a tad noisy from Road traffic. Very squeaky bed every time you move
