The staff was extremely responsive and pleasant to interact with. They were able to check us in early and met all requests. When you first enter the hotel lobby area, it looks like you stepped into a royal building. Our room had a mini fridge in it. There was not a microwave in our room, but the staff offered to warm up food for us in their kitchen. However, I'm not sure I would pay this price again to stay here. The comforter inside our duvet was stained yellow. We asked for a replacement and it was promptly replaced. The corners of the tub were a little dirty, so those could have been cleaned better. There was also a tiny fly in our bathroom when we first got there. Overall, the price could've been a little lower based on the cleanliness factor, but the staff was the best I've ever dealt with.

First time in Copenhagen, absolutely great hotel, would definitely come back: contrary to what is mentioned in some reviews, rooms are wide, beds very confortable, AC available if needed, very good internet connection, prime location, staff friendly and very knowledgeable, recommend strongly.

Room was very nice - very comfortable bed, spacious (junior suite). Quiet. Nice decor. Staff very helpful, executive lounge is a nice perk. Plenty of towels and soaps. Good location.

Shower was too small - we are not large people but kept bumping the door open or bumping the control knobs (making the water suddenly very hot or very cold). Quality of breakfast was disappointing - although there was a good variety of foods, they were not flavorful. Could not figure out how to get a hot cup of coffee, And layout of the food made it all feel very cramped except in the early hours when few were eating.

We had a delightful stay at this wonderful hotel located in the heart of Copenhagen. The location is simply superb: just a 3-minute walk to Nyhavn and a 2-minute stroll to the famous Amalienborg complex with the majestic Frederik's Church. The hotel has recently been renovated, and it shows in every detail. The service is top-notch: upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, and when it started to rain, the reception staff promptly offered us umbrellas. They also assisted us with our luggage, which was much appreciated. The hotel definitely lives up to its price and stated quality. The rooms were a pleasant surprise: contrary to some reviews, there are air conditioners, and the rooms were very comfortable. The bed was incredibly soft, and the room was equipped with all necessary amenities, including dishes, a mini-bar, tea, and coffee – everything that made our stay even more enjoyable. We can confidently recommend this hotel for a stay. We truly enjoyed our time here!

However, there are a few suggestions for improvement. The bed was quite narrow, which made it a bit cramped for two people. A larger bed would provide more comfort. Additionally, being in the old part of the city means the windows are wooden and offer poor sound insulation. As a result, we could hear nighttime revelers and passing cars, which woke us up a few times. But these are minor issues! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again!

Really great front of house staff, incredibly helpful especially with airport transfers. Room was very clean and well presented with all the facilities you’d need. Great location close to the city centre, right round the corner from Nyhavn and near some lovely bakeries. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and we had some of the best nights sleep. The elevator worked with a nice glass window to see through to the courtyard. The reception area was stunning with the indoor water feature, the seating area was immaculately presented and the iced cucumber and lemon water was a lovely touch. Overall beautiful hotel and we had a great rest.

It is quite lovely and travels you back in time with its aesthetics. The marbles, the paintings on the walls, the mix of gold-bronze with milky white colours, all these elements peacefully combined together provide such a unique and luxurious atmosphere. The experience is enhanced by the fact that the hotel is in the heart of Copenhagen and that gives you the opportunity to explore all of the most interesting sights easily. I would totally recommend it.

The photos of the room I booked were taken in another room and that felt a little like a cheat or a cheap practice (the other room looks / is a bit more spacious.

Great location for touring the city. All staff very attentive and helpful to our needs in the room. Nice variety of Breakfast selections. Liked the salads every day. Towel warming rack in bath. Countertop size in bathroom. 2 sinks. Bathtub with anti-slip mat. Good room lighting with general and reading lights at the bed. Wide window sills served as extra storage. Good size desk.

We are accustomed to firm mattress at home. Hotel's was too soft. We requested a board to firm it up which didn't work because it would not unfold flat. A single firm board the size of cot is all that's needed. Some of the furnishings (cloth) were aging. The bed cover did not feel or smell recently cleaned. The transom from the room to bathroom was a trip hazard. Stairs required on both entrances to go from street level to ground-floor. is an issue for wheelchairs.

It was perfectly situated, within walking distance of the places we wanted to see but down a side street so not too noisy. We had an executive room which had complimentary entry from 11am until 10pm to go in to have a coffee after being out all day but not wanting to go to our bedroom. The staff could not have been more polite and accommodating. Would definitely go back there if visiting Copenhagen again.

The breakfast room was a bit soulless but the choice of items and opening times were good for us.

An elegant building in a central location close to plenty of bars and restaurants and a nearby Metro station although most sights in Copenhagen are easily accessible on foot. The room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed, adequate storage space for clothing, a work table, plenty of light, a decent view from the window and a mini safe for securing valuables. It also had air conditioning although I had no need of it. Breakfast was pretty typical for the region.

The bathroom was a wet room hence showering flooded the floor, it's a bugbear of mine but what is the point of a wet room? The extractor fan was under powered so the bathroom never really dried out. The early morning noise from the street cleaners (at 2.30am) and an adjacent building site (from 5.30am) disturbed my sleep.
