We had a wonderful stay at Admiral to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were so kind and helpful and also upgraded our room. A lovely touch! The room itself was comfortable. It took us a while to figure out the lighting, haha, but it had all the necessary requirements for a short stay. The view overlooking the Opera house was also fantastic. The location is SPOT on! It is a perfect base for exploring. We also took advantage of the hotel organised boat tour, which was a lovely way to see the city and learn its history. Overall, I would highly recommend

The hotel is currently renovating, so there was some noise disturbance in the morning (but they did provide ear plugs). It also would have been nice to have complimentary water bottles in the room but that's not a deal breaker IMO...

Location of the hotel was excellent and the room, it was spacious and comfortable. It was great that the windows opened too for fresh air. Concierge changed my room quickly and upgraded me when there were a couple of problems with my initial room which I really appreciated.

Heating is set at certain temperature, would be good to have ability to change the temperature to make the room cooler at night. There was construction work at the hotel, it wasn’t too impactful as I was out during the day but it would have been good to know when booking.

Great location of the hotel, right in the center and on the waterfront. The rooms are cozy, clean and have a comfortable beds. The minibar has a vast options of a refreshments (from small snacks like peanuts or chips to soft drinks and booze).

Aware of the fact that it's not fault (part 1) of the Hotel but I would like to receive information about reconstruction of the surrounding and more importantly about some part of the hotel facility upfront. This information should be available during the booking process or should be received in advance and still prior the arrival. This influenced my experience with the accommodation. Again, aware of the fact that some maintenance or a reconstruction must be carried out time to time in order to increase the quality and experience but this information should be shared.

Location is 10/10 Really great bedrooms & bathroom. Small rooms but a really lovely standard, bed very comfortable and a powerful rainfall shower. Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom a lovely touch.

Staff were rude upon check in. Didn’t make your stay feel special or very welcoming. Ladies especially rude, took payment and told us to return at 2pm for checkin, we arrived very early as we had an early flight from the UK. Check in staff gave us no details about the hotel and amenities. The staff let our stay down, just look at you as a number and not a guest.

A beautiful conversion, in an attractive area close to Amalienborg Palace, of an 18th century grain-drying warehouse, carried out with sensitivity and a fine attention to detail. Spotlessly clean, charming staff, stylish bathroom with powerful waterfall shower and very comfortable bed and duvets. I found the pillows rather soft but would probably have been offered alternatives if I had remembered to ask! Loved the view from our waterfront room.

Our only caveat is not the fault of the hotel, but the intermittent noise from outside. The early morning swimmers tended to yell a bit (the water was probably freezing) but the "party boats" on warm summer nights, with thudding music and noisy revellers, were disturbing. The adjacent Ofelia Plads also hosted several noisy outdoor afternoon dance sessions - not good if you value a siesta. Outside these times, it's a very quiet and peaceful area but next time I would opt for a view of the (quiet) street rather than the waterfront.

BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. THE STAFF WAS VERY OBLIGING. THE VIEW FROM OUR BEDROOM WAS VERY PLEASING AND INTERESTING. RECEPTION STAFF WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. THE STAFF IN GENERAL WAS WERE WELL TRAINED. THE STAFF AT BREAKFAST WERE POLITE AND OBLIGING.

THE RESTAURANT: WE COULD NOT SIT WHERE WE WANTED IN THE RESTAURANT LOUNGE {BY ONE OF THE TWO SMALL WINDOWS NEXT TO THE INSIDE WALL} ON THE BASIS THAT THOSE TWO TABLES HAD BEEN RESERVED WE HAD TO SIT WHERE THE WAITRESS HAD CHOSEN FOR US. THOSE TWO TABLES WERE NEVER OCCUPIED. THE MENU WAS LIMITED. WE CHOSE TWO MAIN DISHES. WE HAD TO WAIT FOR ALMOST AN HOUR (LITERALLY) TO HAVE OUR FOOD SERVED. THE CHIPS WHICH CAME WITH OUR CHOSEN DISHES WERE COVERED IN SALT AND HAD TO BE RETURNED TO THE KITCHEN PRACTICALLY UNTOUCHED; NO ALTERNATIVE WAS OFFERED. THE MUSIC WAS TOO LOUD.

Room 120, facing the sea. Access within the room was restricted because of a huge wooden column in the center of the room but a very attractive feature, all said and done. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very polite and helpful. Excellent location and within easy walk of the Nyhavn Canal, etc.

No Gym/workout facilities at all, No English Channels to speak of, no BBC news/BBC World Service etc.

aesthetic, the staff, the service, the room, the location, the facilities, everything was superb. We checked in and got a great room, however because we have difficulty with going up stairs (the beds were upstairs) we had to change and upon requesting this as the reception the kind man who helped us immediately changed the room and made sure we had a great view and spacious room (I think we got an upgrade because this was way better than the one we booked). Everything about our room was amazing. The location of the hotel is amazing, will definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Copenhagen.

Copenhagen weather.

Not our first time at the hotel. It's a decent quality venue, good location, friendly and professional personnel. This time we got a free room upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise.

Due to construction works there is a very limited number of parking slots available in front of the hotel. We were told that they are partnering with the parking house nearby and we can park there, not the most convenient option, but ok. If it's a partnership offer one would expect the same price as in front of the hotel, but it's more expensive. We would also suggest having more cargo bikes available for rental. Two is obviously not enough.
