A lovely situated hotel with parking. The hotel is very rustic, the room was spotless with all the facilities you would expect. We had a balcony which offered beautiful views. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The hotel was well located to travel into Copenhagen. There was a bus stop outside the hotel, or you could take a 20 minute walk to the station to get into Copenhagen quicker. The immediate surroundings are very pretty. There are some local cafés. There is a lovely bar next door that serves good reasonably priced food.

We thought breakfast was a bit too expensive for what you got. There was a nice selection, but compared to some other hotels we stayed in, it lacked variety.

The breakfast was excellent. Focus was on healthy foods, highly recommended. Just adjust your expectations to know that this is an older, creaky hotel well worth staying in. The "pub" restaurant was especially good for lunch and dinner, also highly recommended. Staff were great!

It would be better if they didn't charge for small extras like a bathrobe for going to the beach, or beach towels. Also, if they could arrange for guests to use the saunas by the water -would be worth paying extra for this special Scandinavian experience, if possible. If staying in a room on the first floor above the restaurants (one on each side of the hotel), you will hear noise! Bring earplugs or drink enough shnapps that you won't care!

This is a wonderful small hotel. The ambiance is simply terrific. The staff is great, rooms are wonderful, location is perfect. Did not have breakfast there, but seen reviews that said it was good. The “old school” feel is nice, real keys, a reception. Been here twice, and I am quite certain I will be returning. The harbor has some nice place to eat. There is a newish place called Halgodt, street food vendors, indoor and outdoor seating. A really nice place to go hang out, grab food and drink. One photo is of the room, the other at Halgodt.

Can’t think of anything, though a bathrobe would be nice in the room. You can pay for one though.

This is a beautiful old property, as charming as it could be. Our room, no. 11, was large, with a balcony and a lovely view out to the water. The staff are wonderful- friendly, helpful, accommodating. The breakfast is fabulous, absolutely worth the extra charge. The hotel and the neighborhood are quiet. There is a city bus that stops in front of the hotel that takes you to the center of town ( you need Kroners in exact change to ride).

The restaurant at the hotel is excellent, but there aren’t many other options in walking distance.

Spacious and comfortable room on ground floor of annexe. very dark due to staircase and galery above the window and a stone wall 2 metres away. Staff went there to smoke. Bathroom mould needed removing on shower screen and bottom of bathroom door had been wet and was disintegrating. On the plus side the bus stop is outside the hotel and we could go for a long walk along the see front.

The hotel is quaint, real room keys,wonderful front staff. Restaurant on premises. Bar with food next door. Minutes to beach, harbor and restaurants.

Considering the beach is right there, charging for bath robes is a bit cheapish, and probably not what a place like this should do. H

We love the boutique scale of this place, its history, the helpful staff, and terrific restaurant. As an older building, however, there are some tradeoffs, notably no elevator (not bellman), yet another reason to pack light. The location is lovely, in the center of a traditional fishing district and a short walk across to the harbor and beach. The hotel furnishes nice warm full-length down robes to guests who want to swim in the ocean. The rooms are clean and the ones facing the street/ocean have roomy balconies and nice views.

It would have been nice to have help moving bags upstairs.

Beautiful location and so well done...historic yet up to date and classically decorated. Walking distance to the shore and additional restaurants. Bus stop to get to downtown CPH is literally at the foot of the exit...and bo tickets are needed, all you need to do is download an app. Couldn't have been more pleasant!

Nothing! A hair dryer would have been nice, but certainly not a deal breaker!

Staff lovely and helpful, breakfast fantastic, room with view to harbor spacious. So nice to stay out of the bustle of the city. Shirt walk to harbor and nice ice cream, coffee and light meal options . Downstairs pub very cute but minimal vegetarian options. Front seating was taken by a large group who was occupying the table for a long time so we had to sit in patio over parking lot which was a little cold and windy and not so picturesque.

Garbage collection at 4:30 am right under window very noisy! Suggest restaurant staff don't give front tables to large groups who occupy for long periods. Bike rental very expensive, would be nice to borrow bike for shorter time and cheaper.. or include in price

Great property, perfect location, friendly staff.

The room was a bit small but that was the only thing I struggled with a bit - everything else was perfect
