Honest Review! When I first pulled in I was a little nervous about how the hotel would be. A very kind Indian family bought out the hotel a year and a half ago. THEY ARE ALL THE KINDEST PEOPLE. They are remodeling the hotel and the rooms were actually very cute and comfortable! I traveled there for work my room had a whole other room for a bathroom and shower, my coworkers room had 3 beds and a FULL kitchen. Stove oven microwave full size fridge and freezer the works!! It honestly felt like a studio apartment. The kindness of the family blew me away! We didn’t check in until pretty late (11 pm) since we worked before we checked in. When we got there the check in process was super simple and quick and they upgraded our rooms for free! When we checked out his wife made us hot chai tea and some hand made pastries and packed it for us for the road ☺️ what a kind gesture. I honestly have no complaints what so ever and highly recommend to anyone traveling to or through Moses Lake!

It was in a pretty quiet area, not too much noise going around and it was peaceful the whole time in the room. It was clean, the owner was really friendly to make sure we were comfortable.

Very comfortable bed, quiet room, immaculately clean, good size and well laid out with seating, side table, desk and sideboard with plenty of draws. Lots of lighting. Separate hanging space for clothes. Plenty of toiletries and towels. Other great facilities in room included fridge, freezer, microwave that were all brand new. Nice shower. Clearly recently refurbished. Plenty of parking. The owner David was very friendly and helpful recommending a good local restaurant. A nice family concern, with meeting his wife and son too. All very dedicated to providing the best experience.

I had a fantastic stay at the Sage and Sand Motel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The room was clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The vintage charm of the property adds a unique character, and the peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. The location is perfect—convenient to nearby attractions, but quiet enough to enjoy a restful night. You can tell the owners take pride in the place; everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, affordable, and memorable place to stay.

The staff here are so nice and kind. The rooms are newly remodeled and clean! I appreciate that the room feels homely, compared to the common commercial motel/hotels. The 7am - 11am Coffee Time is awesome. Mama at the front desk was so sweet. As I made my way to refill my coffee cup at the front office, she greeted me with a good morning and said she has a fresh pot brewing and will only take a minute. She asked a couple of questions to ensure our stay here was comfortable. I really did appreciate that. The property is well maintained, quiet, and clean. The room doesn't smell at all, and the AC in the room works well. The bathroom is very clean and tidy. The Queen size beds/pillows were so comfy that I actually had a good night sleep. The kitchen was a plus for us (full fridge, oven, sink, microwave, cooking pots, plates, and utensils). Kid friendly and for great value. Free parking and WiFi. Their location is near food stores and shopping areas too. Definitely recommend!

One nice thing about this motel is you park right in front of your own space . each unit has its own space! The front desk was wonderful. His name was David and he walked me to my room to ensure that everything was as I preferred. The room was very clean in fact, not a speck of dust anywhere. I also noted that the room was brought down to a nice cool temperature before my arrival. The weather was in the mid 90s. I almost called to make sure that had happened but they thought of it an already. I like that this motel is centrally, located and close to a lot of of food options.

I always prefer to have my coffee in my room. If you are that person too, I would recommend bringing some with you.

Great location newly renovated, felt very comfortable and inviting. The owner is on site, easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. Rooms are really clean and welcoming. I’d sit on the outside patio in the evenings and enjoy the fresh air while I finished my reports. I took advantage of the nice sitting area with a community grill and made dinner with some co-workers both nights there! Will definitely stay there again my next time around. Definitely recommend this little home away from home!

The hotel is located close to everything. Restaurants, grocery stores, laundromat, very close to down town. everything you might need is right there. The property is safe with no undesirable activities going on. The room was clean and recently remodeled. With a smart tv for streaming and cable channels as well. It’s a family run hotel. The owner takes great pride in the hotel and is always on property to solve any issues that might arise. This isn’t my first time staying here. I keep coming back because of the great room rates, the fantastic service, and the great location.

I look forward to coming back and trying out the pool when it’s open.

This is a family-run motel with hard-working owners who have done attractive, thoughtful upgrades to a classic old-style motel. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed (upgraded to king at no additional charge). The bathroom and shower stall were nicely remodeled. The refrigerator, microwave, new-looking air conditioner (with handy remote), and the closet are all separated off from the main room, as is the bathroom. This helped buffer any sounds from the street. The motel is located away from the noise of Interstate 90. The friendly owner came around to ask how our stay was at check-out. Other guests were considerate and quiet. Although the motel is pet-friendly, we asked for a room that had not had pets or not recently, and our room had no signs of pets, and no pet scents. We really appreciated that. The price was very reasonable and we felt we got our money's worth. It was a good stop on the long trip back home from the Seattle area.

I mentioned to the owner that our bathroom window might benefit from a solid shade or curtain for a little better privacy than the shade with slats and sheer curtains, which could feel just a little less private after dark. But they gave adequate coverage. A small thing, and I only mention it because he asked. :)

This little mom-and-pop motel is an oasis in the town of Moses Lake. It's owned and operated by a family that has done a lot of work to freshen it up while still keeping its 1950s motel vibe. Our suite had 2 rooms; one with the bed, comfy chairs, & some small tables, and the other had the fridge, microwave & a long breakfast bar to use for food prep, if need be. All of it was very clean, homey, and comfy. An added bonus was the placement of large, steel tubs, that had been planted with lots of beautiful flowers, in front of the motel rooms. There was no breakfast, but coffee was available in the lobby from 7-11 a.m. Also, there was a stand-up shower with no tub in the bathroom, but that worked fine for us.
