We stayed with Arshed and team for 8 nights; family of 4, boys aged 8 and 10. Sri Lanka in general has been my favourite place to have ever visited. The culture, the people, the food and the stunningly beautiful environment made for an adventure of a lifetime. Sun Siyam optimises all of these in a relaxed effortless way. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. The hotel was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. They organised everything, from the pick ups to the excursions, 1 to 1 cookery classes on the beach to whale watching, safari and fishing to name a few. It was humbling to see a hotel care for the area it's in from employing locals to keeping the beaches clean. The food was exceptional and was paired perfectly to the wine by Thusitha, who also looked after us during our stay. The service was outstanding, and we felt particularly well cared for and the boys were well looked after. This was the first trip I booked without a tour operator but this allowed us to book internal air transfers with cinnamon air without being charged a fortune so the transfer from columbo to sun Siyam was an epic way to begin our adventure. In the center of the territory there is a large 𝗉𝗈𝗈𝗅 with beautiful illumination at night. If you want privacy, you can relax 𝖺𝗍 your private pool in your room. 𝖠𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖻𝗎𝖿𝖿𝖾 area there is a 𝗐𝗂𝗇𝖾 𝖼𝖾𝗅𝗅𝖺𝗋 with an impressive collection of wines and champagnes. For sophisticated guests, having a glass of Dom Perignon at sunset of the outgoing day is perfect! Whole hotel makes with love, so you may not worried about something, the hospitality staff will always help you. Today it is one of the best hotels on the island of Sri Lanka, so your are always welcome!

Very spacious and clean. The room was air conditioned and the facilities were adequate for an all in one stay. The pool is massive with lots of sun chairs and they serve your snacks and drinks at the pool. The pool is hot for someone who prefers cooler waters. The beach front location is nice. Food is great with buffet style breakfast and dinner. The staff are super friendly with moderate English. The manager speaks English very well.

The setting is very tranquil, and the rooms are of an excellently high standard. The food is very good quality, with a vast selection to choose from and the staff could not be more attentive.

The beach directly in front of the hotel is home to many crustaceans which deters you from swimming.

Our stay at Sun Siyam Pasikudah was simply amazing. The staff were incredibly attentive, at times it felt like they intuitively knew what we needed before we even asked. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience unforgettable, though we did notice that communication in english could be improved slightly. The beach is beautiful and peaceful, with great amenities and stunning views. However, due to broken coral in some areas, it's not ideal for swimming right in front of the resort. They do provide sea shoes, which are really helpful. Just a short 100 meter walk along the shore brings you to clearer, safer spots perfect for a dip. The massages at the spa were excellent and the poolside drinks were among the best we've ever had.

Great hotel with amazing rooms. We had our stay in 118 sq m pavilion with pool. Liked ir very much. The rooom was cozy, everything was clean, the pool was bigger then expected because of lack of available pool pictures. Amazing view from room and good location for quiet relaxation away from main city activities and public beach. Hotels private beach is clean, the water is pretty shallow, but if you cross the shallow water and enter deeper water, there are loads of corals and fish, good place for snorkeling. The breakfasts and dinners had good variety of foods and food was really tasty. Everything was clean no signs of hygiene problems. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ended up extending our stay. Deffinately recomend the hotel, you get what you pay for!

The hotel is ideally located on the pristine Pasikudah beach and offers every imaginable luxury. Our room was immaculate and thoughtfully equipped from top to bottom. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-end getaway.

One small suggestion: while the food was of high quality and beautifully presented, we felt the menu was largely tailored to Western tastes. Introducing more authentic Sri Lankan dishes would not only enrich the culinary experience but also give guests a deeper connection to the local culture. We’re confident that many international visitors would appreciate the opportunity to explore the vibrant and flavorful Sri Lankan cuisine.

First of all price and quality all full match . Good and big rooms , really tasty food , attentive personal , good beach and that’s worth it if you want to swim and get some Sun . For sure it’s perfect for this money . I’m highly recommend this place for eaither family vacation, romantic one or with friends ! Below there will be minuses that we don’t like . But still it’s very goood

No slippers in the room , no A/C in restaurant , shallow sea ( you should know this ) , for 5 stars hotel there is not enough towels . For me biggest issue was that locker safe can be taken in hands and just it . I was afraid to hold my stuff there .

My wife and I stayed at Sun Siyam Hotel and had a fantastic experience. We enjoyed the delicious food, especially the crab curry. Our room was very spacious and included an indoor pool, which added a touch of luxury and relaxation to our stay. The pool was clean and well-maintained, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The beach is stunning, and the staff provided excellent service with a warm and friendly attitude. I also noticed that the General Manager oversees all departments efficiently, ensuring a smooth experience for guests. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Eastern Sri Lanka!
