Very cosy place, nice staff, specially during breakfast, comfortable beds and good rooms with new toilet. Wifi works. Parking on the street for free. It is 10min on foot from S6 train station about 25 min from Munich. Breakfast is nice, though not enormous. Nice Bavarian style place.

Not a problem, but to be aware: it is a small place and reception is not 24h - they may charge you for late checkin. Room insulation is not the perfect, so you might hear other rooms or the street noise.

Bed, super comfortable, breakfast, very nice and eggs cooked to perfection. Everyone that worked there was pleasant and happy. Very sweet people. Very nice and clean. Well appointed.

I expected to be on the first floor so the stairs were very difficult for me. Turns out the first floor means one up in Europe. Learned something new🤪

Attention to detail was amazing. I told them about my husband's birthday and they spoilt us so much. The wooden internal detail was so comfortable and cosy. Walking distance to train station. In a quiet suburban area of town but close enough to shops to walk.

There was nothing I did not like.

Room and bathroom a bit small.

We only booked H.Alpenhof the night before we arrived. It's situated in a quiet part of the small town of Gauting, which has excellent SBahn 6 links with Munich and the surrounding area. Everything was perfect - clean room, good shower,ample breakfast, cheerful and helpful staff,who conversed in English if required.

There was nothing to not like. Although only breakfast is available in Alpenhof,the Hotel Bären is only two minutes walk away and has super food,so this is really not a negative about Alpenhof

Lovely staff, beautifully clean throughout, cosy traditional decor and really convenient with train access to city centre or day trips out of town.

Absolutely wonderful accommodation and super friendly staff. And the breakfast was amazing. Couldn’t have asked for more.

A very nice small hotel, good location, super breakfast, clean comfortable room....very helpful staff & excellent Munich beer available.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, egg cooked fresh, buffet regularly re filled. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable.

The windows do not have full curtains and no shutters available so it is very light in the morning.
