This is the rare case, when photos are worse, than the hotel is. The room is not dark or gloom! Very clean. Very well maintained. Good pillows and matresses. In the center of Planegg. The stor is right below the hotel. 2 nice restaurants are beside. Wonderful doener right in front. Good breakfast (good cofee, which is rare luxury in hotels, and berries!) 5 min walk from S-Bahn. Very nice and responsive personnel. Definitely reommend if you seek simple and good stay.

Planegg is not Munchen :) S-Bahn goes every 20 minutes. The commute is not very comfortable thus.

We got a lovely welcome from staff that made check in and parking easy. It was a Saturday night in octoberfest so understandable the price felt high, but in all this still is a good hotel. The room was on the small side but had everything we needed, comfy bed, good heating including the bathroom floor, and good shower pressure was great. Breakfast in the morning was traditional and nice.

Our only issue is a not pleasant design fault of the actual toilet. I’d recommend replacing them. It’s an odour thing! The shower pressure was fantastic but again although it’s a tight space a slightly bigger shower space would have made this place fantastic. Some larger people will have problems with the shower space.

Excellent location, just minutes from the S-Bahn. Room worked well for a long stay. Breakfast was fantastic and we needed all 10 days to try everything. Staff was very helpful, including making arrangements for an odd check in time with our suitcases arriving before we did. I enjoyed the church bells announcing the time. We took some time to strategically plan where to stay. I will not hesitate to stay here again. This was a great, quiet location with easy transportation options for Munich, Starnberg. Many great dining options as well.

Extremely clean throughout the building, the room was larger than I would have expected and the beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom was well equipped with everything we needed. The continental breakfast was tasty with a varied selection. Staff were lovely and helpful. Location excellent with the S-Bahn only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

Everything. The room was beautiful and large and the staff always kept it clean and tidy. Lovely shower and space for our family of 5. Staff were always so friendly and professional - they are exceptional at what they do.

Everyone is very friendly and make you feel like family. The breakfast is good with made to order coffee and tea. There is a small grocery store that is adjacent to the hotel. Multiple bus stops close by and short walk to the train station. City center is a short ride away. Great small town feel!

Everything was perfect at this hotel, the small city, the staff was top, always smiling and helpful, breakfast was a festin. I rarely saw a breakfast well organized like in this hotel. Extremely clean and cosy, for sure I will come back to my next visit in Munich!

It’s hard to find one thing I liked as everything was fantastic. I had a late checkin and communication was brilliant re. accessing the safe, getting keys and necessary info for finding the room / Wi-Fi codes / breakfast etc. The place is spotlessly clean with bright and cheery decor. Staff are friendly, well organised and quick to respond. The breakfast buffet offered an absolute feast with something for every taste. I loved the fresh berries. There were loads of different fresh breads too. Our room was cleaned every day which was a wonderful treat after a day sight seeing. The location is perfect on the S6 line for Munich centre in one direction and all the towns along Sternberg lake in the other. Planegg has gorgeous restaurants and a beer garden for evening meals and, the hotel is above a supermarket if you want items for the room fridge. I could go on and on raving about this hotel.

Very fresh hotel, there is an elevator and underground car parking (additional fee around 9 Euro). Free parking is also possible nearby along the street. Beds are very comfortable, big plus for availability of rooms with 5 standard beds for bigger families. Bathroom looked new, actually the whole hotel looked very new. Just 5 min walk to train station where you have trains to center of Munich every 20 min approximately. Breakfast really good, it was actually sad to leave only after one evening & night.

The hotel staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making my stay feel truly welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a little bit of everything to suit different tastes. Overall, a great experience.
