The location was just a few minutes walk to the train stop. The room was clean and even had a beer in fridge when we arrived! The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The one time we ate dinner at the restaurant it was very good as well as convenient for our large group!

The fridge in the room was not working (no lights, not cold). The front desk person was very helpful and found a breaker that needed to be rest. The light came on, but he fridge did not cool down. We didn't really need it, so it did not affect our lovely stay.

This was a perfect spot as our base in Munich to enjoy Oktoberfest. It was awesome having the restaurant on site and the people at the hotel were so lovely and helpful. Our room was huge. Old town Munich and the Oktoberfest grounds were a very easy train ride away, just a block or so walk from the hotel. We love being away from the chaos of the tourist areas. We loved every meal we had at the hotel and took specific note of so many locals in the restaurant which is always great to see. Highly recommend as so convenient to Munich but a small town oasis!

My only question was that the biergarten connected to the hotel was never opened, but that’s probably because there was so much else going on during Oktoberfest.

Large, clean, and quiet room. Friendly staff with the hotel having a large Biergarten a big plus. I saw many locals dining at the Biergarten and at the restaurant inside, which says a lot about the food and staff. Within close walking distance of a metro station, and the general area and neighborhood of the hotel is top notch.

I can’t think of anything that was a negative.

Everything was clean and nice. The guesthouse is 2 minutes away from the metro station, and you also have bakeries and cafes nearby if you choose not to eat the breakfast at the hotel. They also have a beer garden in the yard with nice traditional food. You can opt to park on the street, or pay extra for underground garage parking.

There’s no AC in the rooms, if the weather is hot the rooms on the last floor might get a bit toasty. The superior room didn’t have a balcony, but this wasn’t necessarily a problem.

Great breakfast. Giant rooms, all well maintained. Reasonably quiet location.

If I want to be critical, towels don't need replacing each day (although hanging the Do not disturb sign helped). And the automatic lights and ventilation stay on way too long, like 20 minutes, even if the shower wasn't used (pulling out the card for room lights works to stop this though). The duvets and/or room are a bit warm.

Clean, comfortable, good value, nice beer garden and close to U6 tube station. We ate here once, food was really enjoyable. No english menu but nothing google translate couldn't solve! Also close to supermarket and small fridge in room.

Reception closed at 4pm, we arrived at 4.15pm so all we got on first day was room key...no wifi password etc. Had thought might already be in room...

The hotel and room was nice and clean. The personnel was very welcoming and explained all the details. The room was rather big and the bed was large as well. The bed was comfy. Interior of the room was very classic. All furniture made of real wood. It was quiet, could not hear any neighbours. We visited hotel' s beer garden/restaurant for dinner, the food was excellent. Very big portions.

It was a bit pricey for 2 night stay taking into account it was not in central location.

It was a little expensive since we stayed during the Oktoberfest period. We could get off directly at the alternative metro stop of the Oktoberfest area with the U6 metro. Transportation was very comfortable. We did not try the hotel's breakfast, but I drank beer at the hotel restaurant in the evening to taste the Erdinger brand beers. I really liked the potato salad with the beer and I definitely recommend it. Before entering the hotel, they read the comments regarding my preferences through booking and took them into consideration. Our room was very clean, the housekeepers cleaned the room every day. They didn't take the money I left for tip, which made me sad. The receptionist was a very good employee. He asked us about our Oktoberfast experience every day and allowed our luggage to stay there for 3 hours after check-out, so we could explore the city more easily until our flight.

Since it was Oktoberfast period, the waiters were wearing drindl clothes. I wanted to take a picture with them as a souvenir, but they didn't want to, which made me sad. There was an Erdinger branded beer glass and opener in our room. I wanted to take these with me. They did not allow it.

+ Cleanliness : The floor was dustless. I walked around the room with white socks an they didnt get dirty. The coffee cups and the water glasses were clean. The bathroom was spacious and clean to tge point that no dried water drops, no limescale (Kalk) can be seen. + Staffs : Super friendly and helpful. They helped arranging early check-in and luggage storage for us. + Room decorations and furnitures : Although vintage, they seem to be the original, well taken of, clean, great quality, and every piece feel sturdy. The couche in the room was also clean and not dusty + Location : Close to U-bahn (underground) which can take you to the innercity in 15 minutes, and to the Oktoberfest location in 12.

Technically nothing. Just a little thing thogh, but as they tried to arrange early check-in, the room had to be cleaned under time pressure, so they forgot to clean the toilet seat where there was cleary water(?) drops on it. But that was not a big deal.

My second time at this hotel, right off the U6, 15ish minute train ride to Marienplatz. Nice quiet area away from tourists to relax after a busy day. A few breakfast options are close by. Everything was wonderful!
