Everything was beautifully decorated, super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I liked that there were fans in every room. Checking in and out was super easy because everything was written out in detail. Blanca did a great job cleaning our room.

The only complaint I would have is that the manager never called me back when I asked her to. She had her phone number written down, saying that she could be reached at any time. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day early unfortunately. I asked that she called me back to let me know that she got the message and never heard back from her. If you’re going to say that you are available at least call back if you’re not able to answer the phone at the time you get a call

Teller House is absolutely charming. It has all the modern amenities, yet we felt as if we'd gone back in time to stay in a fashionable hotel open to the well-to-do. I could have imagined being picked up by a horse-and-carriage for an evening out at a soirée. We had a room with a shared bathroom. It was down the hall, as in many European hotels, and Teller House left us robes. The bathroom was never busy. We found many campy Western bars in Silverton, and they looked like fun; but we recommend where we spent our one evening in the tiny town. Villa Dallavalle is just behind Teller House on the back street. There, we had a lovely warm evening relaxing in their garden with wine tasting and crudités. We felt like we were in Italy.

All was well.

The Teller House is on the main street of Silverton. It's so beautifully maintained and the owners have really maintained the integrity of the era it was built. The bedding and decor were beautiful and charming. The building is brick, so it's so nice and quiet. Our room overlooked the main street and had a lovely view of the hills. We were able to walk everywhere. Just the perfect location.

The parking is not the best as there are merchants along the block. However, after 4 p.m. we were able to. park in front of the house and there was no need to move the car again until we left.

Staff was very friendly. Different experience in that staircase comes up middle of floor with rooms surrounding it. 8 rooms total I think. Courtesy room with coffee, tea, ice, microwave and community fridge to be used at guests discretion. Guests often left doors open and even sat in hallway formed by middle staircase. Friendly.

Unavoidable by design was a long staircase that went from the street to the second floor where the rooms were. Don't bring heavy bags unless you can carry them up yourself.

What a beautiful hotel! I was worried it may be a bit loud with it being all rooms on the same floor and it was very quiet. The location was perfect and housekeeping was exceptional. There is no TV which I was glad but just felt it was worth sharing so others are aware. My teenage boys were more than happy to enjoy other things so it was a nice added plus for me to not have a TV. We will definitely stay again.

Teller House is a wonderful place to stay in Silverton. Centrally located and they have everything you might need in-house. Shirley and Musse are absolutely wonderful hosts who will do anything they can to accommodate requests and insure the comfort of their guests. They are engaged and personable and they really made the stay a 10/10 experience. Blanca did a great job with housekeeping. They take very very good care of their guests.

They ONLY negative was that I stayed in one of the two rooms that use a shared bathroom that's located down the hall. I knew this at booking, so it wasn't a surprise. It can be tough though coordinating use with other tenants. That said, it was never a real issue and I would absolutely stay in one of the shared-use rooms again. Definitely NOT a deal breaker.

It’s history and charm and comfort.

I didn’t realize I wouldn’t have my own bathroom, but no one really else was staying there so the common bathroom I pretty much had to myself. But I don’t think I would like it if it was a busy time.

Perfectly located - full of restaurants/bars/cafes nearby. Clean and nicely decorated with a taste of historic experience - even the shared bathroom is sparkling clean.

Our room is next to a street light which was still quite bright even with curtains down at night for sleep - the hotel did provide eye masks, it may be better to see how to have better shades in the room.

Being in an historic well renovated hotel in an historic town was a treat. The Kuerig coffee setup was appreciated and the shower with ample hot water felt good after skiing. Easy walking distance from almost everything.

The bed was a little too soft for my back. Climbing the steep stairs to get to the second flor at nearly 10,000 ft above sea level on tired after skiing legs was a chore!

Room was very nice and upscale from what Im used to. Comfortable bed and very clean. Location was very nice even though Silverton is a very small town. Staff was excellent and greeted me well, had a nice conversation.

Didnt have a tv and the fan provided was very small, like a desk fan. Room was a little small, not sure if it had AC but not needed in the mountains, the windows were open at night. Also had to share a bathroom with somebody else, but all of this may have been the room I picked, not a big deal.
