What a gem in the heart of downtown! I will never forget the feeling of walking out the front door in the morning and being greeted by the perfect view of those gorgeous mountains! Our room was classy and comfortable with a very nice large bathroom which I was not expecting in a building of this historic age. The restaurant is delicious, great drinks on the rooftop bar with a great view! I love that coffee and tea are available early in the morning and I also love the “secret” door to the saloon next door! I walked to the river trail every morning and enjoyed all the hiking trails within walking distance. If you want to be close to the heart of it all, this is the place for you! I loved every moment of my stay here!

What a beautiful surprise this hotel is!!!! I was expecting an old , run down place.... it is a well maintained, historical, esthetically pleasing hotel with lots of history, old time charm, very friendly staff...and a rooftop bar !!! Our room was a luxury comfort, space and pleasantly smelling oasis ...we really enjoyed our time in New Sheridan. There is free coffee and tea in the morning, and you can buy breakfast if interested. The location is great, just in the middle of all and still we did not feel as it was busy, loud or crowded.... I would love to come back in the future!!!

I liked everything.

Great location. From the bed to the temperature, everything was very comfortable. The hotel is in amazing shape. They clearly take really good care of the place. Ski lockers and boot dryer in the basement was an unexpected bonus. Easy walk to lots of great food choices.

Parking isn't great. We were able to find places on the street, but watch for certain days are not allowed so for long stay you will have to move your car even if you don't want to. Hot water and water pressure could be improved. When everyone is getting ready in the morning the pressure drops low enough the shower turns off and the hottest setting during busy times is barely warm enough.

Great location. Great staff. Very clean rooms. Historic. Excellent restaurants.

Parking was challenging and a bit confusing. No valet. No hot tub, pool, or spa. For$500 per night my view was a storage area filled with cars, an alley, and other assorted junk.

Beautiful location, rooms, and modern amenities with an elegant old school charm. Staff was excellent and so too are the bars and restaurants associated with the hotel. Right on main street, with the opera house right behind it.

Nothing, I thought it was completely excellent all around. Perhaps the only thing I didn't enjoy was the lack of central A/C but it's Telluride so you don't really need it! Top marks all around.

Breakfast was really good.

The person waiting on us wasn't very friendly the morning we ate breakfast. She seemed quite annoyed that we ask for hot coffee (it was not hot when she served it to us). She never came back to our table. I've never experienced this before. I just thought you should know.

The staff was as friendly and helpful as I think I've ever experienced, from the restaurant to the check-in/out to the cleaning crew. Food was delicious, during our stay we ate at least once of each meal. Not a huge selection but sufficient and everything was delicious. Fabulous location. Loved that they had ski lockers (and boot heaters) since rooms are a bit on the small side, but within expectations given the historic nature of the building. Was perfect for us as first time visitors to Telluride, and great value compared to other options in town. Would definitely stay here again.

Would be great if option to include breakfast as part of hotel stay, with a little bit of savings. Only other suggestion that could make it better is if there were a way to have a hot tub, really miss that after full day of skiing.

We had a lovely dinner. It was very expensive but we enjoyed the food immensely. The steaks were seared perfectly. The onion ring batter was fantastic. The trumpet mushrooms were superb.

We loved the vintage look and how clean the bathroom was. The bed was cozy. The staff was super accommodating and very friendly. The food was delicious and the cappuccino too.

That we couldn’t valet or park near the door to unload. There was also a parade at check in, so may be it is easier on regular days. Parking sucks in general In Telluride.

The staff is stellar. Shout out to Ray, Fudgy and Sarah. The rooms are large and cozy. The restaurant fabulous. I can highly recommend!
