The manager is very nice. The room is really great, felt like I was at home. There is free breakfast and the restaurant is amazing. Everything is in walking distance you don't need to drive anywhere. anything you need you can walk to it. Beautiful town. Also, the night we were on our way to check in to the hotel, we did not know the office close at 9PM. Whenever I got phone signal, we received a voicemail from the manager letting us know the office will close 9PM. I called her back and asked if she can wait for us 15 minutes past 9PM to check us in. She said "yes!" I said, "THANK YOU" and I drove as fast I could to the hotel. The manager, she is AMAZING! THANK YOU FOR STAYING A COUPLE OF MINUTES AFTER CLOSING TO CHECK US IN!!! WE REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

We were given coupons for breakfast at a Mexican Restaurant which was excellent! We enjoyed the walk down to the restaurant as it gave a chance to shop the stores on the way back. This was also an excellent restaurant for dinner! We really liked the location right on Main St so convenient to everything. They also had a covered sitting area surrounded by beautiful flowers. They also offered towels we could take to the Hot Springs. Place was very clean and comfortable!

Wish they had a place for our family dog which we had to leave at home.

The location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff was great!

I rate this as a great place to stay, full stop. But I have two things that I think would have made it a little better. A thicket duvet or comforter for the bed. We didn’t get cold, but the blankets provided could have had more heft, or body to them. The laundry facilities were very convenient and well priced. However, they require a pocket full of quarters to operate. I rarely even carry cash on me nowadays, and never change. So a change machine in the room would have been convenient. A card payment option would have been even better. The front desk I’m sure would have made change for us no problem I am sure. However, I put this here as points of input for the management to take into consideration.

This is our second stay here, and we adore it! It’s right on/at the end of Main street, so it’s quiet, but everything is right there to walk to. Rooms are quiet, and the beds are comfortable! We love the breakfast vouchers at Mi Mexico restaurant! It’s one of the main reasons we will keep coming back to stay here. My boyfriend is a vegetarian, and it’s easy for him to still get a yummy breakfast!

Toilet water had a bit of a musty smell this time around, but it wasn’t that bad.

This is a super clean and modern room, and there is a nice lady at check in once you arrive by 3pm. Before then the office is empty and you must deal with the owner hotel, the Matterhorn. Not accommodating. All these inns are right off main street which is five blocks long. Red Mtn brewery across the street has great sandwiches and burgers around $15 and a nice view. But their specialty drinks all lack the special nuts, juices etc that are promised on the menu, they are just plain beer, sangria etc. Or maybe it was the substitute bartender as the owner couple were out buying plants to beautify.

The deluxe king rooms all on the first floor and no views. There is a nutty dog in a home behind there who started barking around 11pm but knocked off after an hour or so. The rooms are not cramped, but on the smaller side, say "cozy" about right.

Super cute, great location. Room was so clean and comfortable. Staff was a pleasure to talk to. Although breakfast was off site, it was good and didn’t mind to walk a couple of blacks to the Mexican restaurant; food was yummy! Great experience. Will definitely stay there again!

This hotel is near the south end of the main street in town. The town is small, so shops and restaurants are right out the door and a few blocks down, and we easily walked to the city hot springs pools on the north end of the main street. Our room was large, comfortable, and extremely clean. Compared to other hotels where I had stayed on our trip, I thought the owner had made extra effort to anticipate guests' needs. The breakfast provided is at a local restaurant, Mi Mexicano, just a few blocks away.

The cost of the hotel was more than I spent in other places on our trip. I booked the hotel about 10 days out and found it was listed at about $50 lower when I looked at it again on the day we checked in. The hotel owner explained that she cannot do anything about rate changes when a person books a hotel through a service. The next time, I may contact the hotel directly to make my reservation. Other than that, the only part of this room that could be improved is the coffee maker. There is one in the room, but the coffee it makes is not very good.

Out of the 9 places we stayed on our trip to New Mexico and Colorado this was about the best. Although we tend to stay in hotels over motels, this one is changing my mind. The room was spacious, plenty of room to put our belongings. The bed was very comfortable and the room had 2 comfortable chairs. The bathroom was plenty spacious and a great shower. They had the best little frig of any place as it had a small freezer space to freeze our blue ice packs. Most other little frigs have no freezer space. A bonus was a coin operated laundry with the inn. It was extremely handy and a happy addition to do some laundry for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was wonderful, they had worked it out for a local restaurant to give us breakfast. Our coffee and omelettes was better than the expensive one at the Luminary Restaurant in Sante Fe that we paid at least $50 for. It was just VERY clear, thought was put into remodeling this place with comfort in mind and keeping it well maintained.

It would have been nice to have a lamp at the desk, but not a big deal.

The room was very, very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The TV had a great selection of channels. The facility is an older facility but has had some updates, and is well maintained in and out.

The room came with a free breakfast. There was no breakfast on site. The free breakfast was down town at a Mexican restaurant. The selections were not what we would ever choose for breakfast. The bathroom was a great size, but only had a single vanity. Had to be creative to make that work.

Adorable older motel with new floors and fixtures. It has a great “funky old motel” feel but without the dated, gross stuff that usually goes along with that. Everything was clean and nice. It smelled good, even the parking lot and fire pit were well maintained. Housekeeping was helpful and friendly. It’s right at the high end of Main Street and we walked the length of town every night after dark.

I would have loved (free) coffee in the lobby in the morning! There are several great coffee shops in town though!
