The check in process was easy and the property was in a great location within walking distance of multiple shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. The room was very clean with a large, comfy bed. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room, which was nice. We were able to check in a little early (1p when check in is 3p) and there was plenty of parking near our room. Our favorite part was that our room had its own front porch/seating area, which was perfect for drinking coffee in the morning or relaxing throughout the day! They had beautiful flowers and hanging baskets around the property and it was all well maintained. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Only consideration was the breakfast option. They give u a ticket to a breakfast several blocks away. It was a very good breakfast and the coffee was great. There was coffee maker in room so I wish I could have paid for room w/o breakfast. It was their only option I think since they don’t have a kitchen to serve from. Not a big deal though

Very nice, small hotel, in a perfect Ouray location, short walk to most downtown attractions, including Perimeter hiking trail, Box Canyon, restaurants, gift shops and, also, best coffee and bakery in town! Our room was very, very clean. The included breakfast was a breakfast voucher with several options to a nearby Mexican restaurant - no complaints, their food was great. We will definitely stay there again!

Our room didn't have any view, but this was not a real problem, since once you step outside, the view of the mountains all around is fantastic!

Clean, well kept, but overpriced.

I didn’t like that you advertised a “SHORT” walk to breakfast, when in fact it was way farther than expected. Breakfast only had a few options with No substitution, every option but 1 was Mexican food, so if you don’t care for that you are stuck with pancakes and eggs(no meat) EVERY MORNING. Not even cereal was offered. No milk was offered with breakfast. The restaurant was poorly staffed and some mornings you waited FOREVER just to get waited on.

This small motel is on the main street in an awesome little town. Not having to use elevators was nice and made for easy in and out. The family-owned business is appreciated (excellent staff). The flowers on the property were gorgeous. When it started raining, they provided umbrellas. The fire pit area was relaxing.

I scared myself and others, I'm sure, by slamming the toilet seat down (used to slow lower). There was no closet in our room.

The manager is very nice. The room is really great, felt like I was at home. There is free breakfast and the restaurant is amazing. Everything is in walking distance you don't need to drive anywhere. anything you need you can walk to it. Beautiful town. Also, the night we were on our way to check in to the hotel, we did not know the office close at 9PM. Whenever I got phone signal, we received a voicemail from the manager letting us know the office will close 9PM. I called her back and asked if she can wait for us 15 minutes past 9PM to check us in. She said "yes!" I said, "THANK YOU" and I drove as fast I could to the hotel. The manager, she is AMAZING! THANK YOU FOR STAYING A COUPLE OF MINUTES AFTER CLOSING TO CHECK US IN!!! WE REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

We were given coupons for breakfast at a Mexican Restaurant which was excellent! We enjoyed the walk down to the restaurant as it gave a chance to shop the stores on the way back. This was also an excellent restaurant for dinner! We really liked the location right on Main St so convenient to everything. They also had a covered sitting area surrounded by beautiful flowers. They also offered towels we could take to the Hot Springs. Place was very clean and comfortable!

Wish they had a place for our family dog which we had to leave at home.

The location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff was great!

I rate this as a great place to stay, full stop. But I have two things that I think would have made it a little better. A thicket duvet or comforter for the bed. We didn’t get cold, but the blankets provided could have had more heft, or body to them. The laundry facilities were very convenient and well priced. However, they require a pocket full of quarters to operate. I rarely even carry cash on me nowadays, and never change. So a change machine in the room would have been convenient. A card payment option would have been even better. The front desk I’m sure would have made change for us no problem I am sure. However, I put this here as points of input for the management to take into consideration.

This is our second stay here, and we adore it! It’s right on/at the end of Main street, so it’s quiet, but everything is right there to walk to. Rooms are quiet, and the beds are comfortable! We love the breakfast vouchers at Mi Mexico restaurant! It’s one of the main reasons we will keep coming back to stay here. My boyfriend is a vegetarian, and it’s easy for him to still get a yummy breakfast!

Toilet water had a bit of a musty smell this time around, but it wasn’t that bad.

The manager was very accommodating! The beds were so comfortable especailly after a long drive! The views were breathtaking. We really enjoyed the evening by the firepit in the front and wonderful chairs there to sit in! Thank you!

Everything was pretty great, but parking was a little tight as someone next to me nicked my car.
