Our stay at Chipeta Lodge was excellent! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We loved having our private spa jacuzzi on the balcony — such a relaxing touch. The suite was well-equipped with a kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the tennis court near the hotel, and it was a bonus that we could borrow racquets and balls for free from the front desk. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended!

The Chipeta Inn was my favorite hotel on our 24 day tip through the rockies. Our room was a suite so we entered through a small well designed bedroom into a very large master bedroom. It had a sofa, comfortable chairs, a private deck and a balcony. Our room was made of adobe, had interesting round "corners" smoothed by adobe with artistic inserts-some with stained glass. If you like originally designed rooms you will love the Chipeta. It is a resort so they have their own restaurant which featured a very good guitar player the night we were there. There is a dog park across the street with open views to the mountains. The manager and receptionist carried our luggage up to our rooms when we headed off to dinner.

My wife has difficulty walking and you have to go up and down stairs a lot as you move around the resort. We barely made it up three flights of stairs for dinner and breakfast, but we were glad when we got there.

Chipeta is wonderful! We have stayed here in the past and it hasn't ever disappointed. Madison at the front desk was lovely and so friendly. We had a wonderful room with a hot tub on the balcony. The fridge was a welcome addition as we had snacks we wanted to keep cold. The hot tub wasn't available, which wasn't an issue since we had one. The room was so nice and windows opened which was welcome for some cool evening air. The breakfast in the morning has hot breakfast tacos, which are yummy, as well as pastries and many other cold items. We will definitely return!

All was great, but the spa is under renovation and the hot tub wasn't working. These weren't a big deal for us and I think they will be repaired/renovated soon.

We were in the suite with the hot tub. We loved it. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Full size fridge. Hot tub was great! Bed was very comfortable. TV was big and worked great. Breakfast was great considering we weren’t expecting one. Facilities were nice, clean, and the atmosphere was great. Great location close to Ouray and Telluride. Food in the restaurant, specifically the chicken tacos were amazing . However they were very tiny and expensive for what you get.

Air conditioning in the room was very loud but at least it worked!!

Our King Suite shocked us! We didn't expect it to be as beautiful or as comfortable as it was! The view we had from the balcony was amazing( facing mountain ranges). I thought we had a jacuzzi tub in the room, but we had a hot tub on the balcony. Bonus!! The only negative experience we had was for both mornings we could not find anyone at the counter to ask questions, and to check out. There was a note saying nobody is there until the afternoon's. And the other negative thing was their continental breakfast is for 2 hours only( 8am-10am)

This hotel is exceptionally guest-oriented, with every detail thoughtfully considered. We received thorough and helpful information both before our arrival and throughout our stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. Even though we booked at the last minute, we felt the experience was well worth the value. Highly recommended!

The Adobe styled lodge was very clean with a very nice pool, restaurant and bar. Stay included a free continental breakfast. Room was large and recently remodeled. Bed was very comfortable. Also, room had a large covered patio where we had a nightcap and viewed the bright stars. Thanks Madison and Casandra for your help during my stay. There are a few other restaurants a short walk away. Close to Ouray. Would stay again.

Everything; the awesome pool, friendly staff, yummy breakfast, the view and beautiful grounds, comfy bed, playing pickleball for the first time with the rackets they provided, the coffee they had available all day, the peace and quiet... I love it here, you simultaneously feel you are at a luxury hotel and made to feel at home.

Jade at reception was receptive and welcoming. We have stayed here before but were nervous about booking again because the last time we tried to check in the receptionist was not at the desk for an hour and was rude and then charged us twice. It was a breeze this time!

The windows don't open (the handles were all missing) and our room was too warm for us so we just had to give it time. The ac instructions said to open the windows but it was not possible.

The rooms were amazing with private hottub on the balcony... the beds were super comfortable... great location with spectacular views and property had a rooftop bar with great food and live music.. what more can you ask for... they also provide water and homemade cookies during check-in... super friendly staff... I will definitely be returning!!!!
