This hotel was very comfortable and cozy (stayed in July 2024). There was a fireplace in the lobby everyday (even in the summer) and comfy couches, games, coffee/tea, plus a bar at night. The front desk staff was super warm and friendly with lots of recommendations. Our room was very comfortable with an extra kitchenette sink and fridge area that we appreciated, being on a road trip with a dog. Though it’s at the front of town, it’s only about a 10 minute walk to all the great shops, restaurants, breweries, and hiking trails. Our room had a little balcony with chairs that faced the intramural fields—this is a hotel tucked into the town with one whole side facing those fields…so it’s kind of unavoidable. If you get a room overlooking them, it’s not the most beautiful view, but you’re in Telluride— get out and enjoy the beauty of the place! Should not affect your experience. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in Telluride. Loved it!

The carpet in our room could use some cleaning but it’s probably because we were in a dog friendly room. Not at all a deal breaker!

Overall very clean. Comfortable beds with good selection of pillows. Restaurant on site had good breakfast. Nice coffee/tea/ water bar and tasty complementary cookies. Nice decor throughout. Great water pressure in the shower. Nice size bathroom. Decent kitchen alcove with dishes and silverware sink and refrigerator and combination microwave/toaster oven. It was nice being able to bring back leftovers and reheat.

Set fairly close to the main road which is very noisy first thing in the morning and then in the evening when the town shuts down. Our room was facing the road so that probably made it slightly more susceptible to the traffic noise.

Proximity to main drag is nice, hot tubs and fitness area were good. We had a room above the hot tub and with the windows and deck door closed we couldn't hear anyone from below. Staff was super helpful with recommendations for self-parking and restaurants. We liked the pet friendly aspect.

Restaurant was closed for the shoulder season, it would have been nice to know that nothing was open (gondola not running) etc. but we were there for an event and the hotel was secondary. At one point the room next to us was quite loud and we could hear that through the walls, but it didn't last too long. One patron had dogs that barked from the deck, and that was obnoxious.

Excellent location to downtown, warm and inviting lobby area with comfortable seating, beautifully appointed mountain decor along with a grand fireplace. The staff was helpful upon arrival and extended that they were available to help us with any of our needs. Telluride is a magical magnificent mountain town, we will definitely come back and stay again at Hotel Telluride!

The hotel is located really nicely, a 5 minute walk from the gondola and centre of town, and there is a supermarket very close. All facilitiies are excellent, wifi perfect, and the staff are really polite professional and helpful. The room we had was really comfortable.

the connecting doors between rooms let a bit of noise through, that can be a little inconvenient if you are unlucky with neighbours.

The hotel staff Sylvia is a kind and thoughtful lady not only in the hotel, but also outside. She and her husband Jose saw us on the street in a rainy day, they gave us a ride to a restaurant. Connor and Beatriz also tried to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. The hotel manager Hamid is first-rated in taking care of hotel guests. We are happy with the staff and services.

Great location - it’s a small town so all the hot spots were easily accessible by foot however due to the cold we used the hotel shuttle service which was amazing. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for them to arrive.

Food options in the restaurant were quite limited and few healthy options. Hotel was expensive- with this being said everything here is extremely pricey. I would say if you are on a limited budget you may want to look for less expensive places to ski in Colorado.

The hotel was located close to downtown. An easy walk to bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel room was nice and spacious with good facilities in the kitchen area with glasses and cutlery. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Only downside is that the balcony was quite small and only had 1 chair so my husband and I could not sit outside together and relax

One of my favorite hotels. Beautiful lobby with comfortable chairs for drinking coffee or wine by the fire. Pretty room, comfortable bed, lovely western decor. Great service, everyone was so friendly and super helpful and fun to chat with. Great location, walking distance to all restaurants. We loved our stay here and can’t recommend it enough.

It was such a cozy stay! The bed was incredibly comfortable.

The parking situation is a bit of a bummer since its first come first serve. We had to park up the street a bit. The shower head was a little weak too. Prefer a bit more pressure in the shower stream. (It wasn’t terrible by any means!)
