THE VIEWS -I love the location within the Box Canyon in and close to the Box Canyon Falls. The Perimeter Rim Trail, the Ambiance of Ouray, the Generous Continental breakfast with Really Good Organic Coffee and Lots of Fixings (Egg, sausage & cheese muffin sandwich on weekends). Loved the fact they let us bring your dogs for a reasonable fee. We absolutely love the mountain-fed hot spring tubs at the lodge. Sat in them at least twice a day, morning and night. Dora (& Latino staff) was Great. Room very clean.

some lateness in opening the Hot tubs in morning (It says 8am-9pm, someone may have slept in, he sometimes was late to unlock the gate).

Great location/views and nice staff. Walkable to all shopping/eateries, and the Ouray Perimeter Trail via the Queen St access point. Ample parking. Tasty breakfast. Loved being able to open the screened windows and take in the mountain air at night. The tiered hot spring tubs were a nice touch. We enjoyed them.

Breakfast room was too small and had limited seating. We had good summer weather so some people opted to eat outside because of lack of tables/space. Get in line for breakfast early. End tables on both sides of the bed is our preference, but don't think was possible in our room. We had a very inconsiderate family next door during our first night who were running around on wooden top walkway, jumping/screaming, and constantly knocking/slamming doors well after summer dark. Some kind of quiet hours enforcement would be good idea.

Nice hot springs hotel at the edge of Ouray. Has a number of hot tub style hot springs terraced on walk ways above the rooms. The room was comfortable and had everything that I needed although dated (ie wall mounted heater/ac). Was quiet and had a nice big modern TV. Great communication from the property via text to keep guests up to date and how to use the hot springs. Staff were quick to keep walk ways clear of snow and the hot springs had heated pads on the stairs and walkways keeping them non slip which was super awesome!

WiFi was usable but not stellar. You could also cast to TV's in other rooms (ie not segmented). Also, the hot springs were noted to be cleaned daily but a layer of brown something inside each of the tubs. A number of the hot spring tubs were out of order.

Everything! From our checkin through to our check out. Pierce welcomed us on arrival, and he was absolutely wonderful. So happy and welcoming. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was great - something for everyone. The hot tubs were an added bonus and the location was perfect. This is our second time staying, and we will definitely stay here again, if we ever make it back to Ouray. Great value for money too

Adorable vintage property with amazing views. The barrel tubs were intimate and the stairs heated so even in the snow it felt inviting. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We had a great breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff was available only by phone or text. It wasn’t necessarily bad because they were readily available and texted back very quick but it was a little more fend for yourself vibes because I didn’t want to bother them with small questions.

This was a perfectly adequate hotel. Room was basic, had fridge and microwave. Great hot tub and in the middle of a road trip a laundry room was welcome.

Our room smelt badly of someone else’s microwave food, needed a lot of airing. Breakfast was welcome but very poor quality

The whole experience!

That the hot tubs could at least go till 10pm or even 930pm. There was seriously like 5 other people staying at the time we did. No one around us n the rooms, which was nice but the guy who worked there kicked out right at 8:55pm. It was quite and peaceful. No one making a disturbance or being loud. We got in late due to a snow storm and checked in at 6 at dinner and only used the hot tub for 20 mins before being kicked out.

We had an amazing time there! The hotel has a really cozy atmosphere and the hot springs are great!! They are clean, very well take care of and monitored constantly. They have a great breakfast and the staff were soooooooo nice that make our stay even better. It's walking distance from the falls and from the town so we didn't need to drive anywhere.... WE definitely will come back!

Loved the location and the private tubs with the amazing view. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They had eggs & sausages for breakfast. And even cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels and yogurt! Best part was the waffle machine! The beds were Tempur-pedic mattress and best night sleep ever.

Loved everything.

This little hotel has it all! Friendly smiling employees, comfortable clean rooms, and their own Hot Springs pools! We loved it. The 7 individual tubs appeared to be new and made of cedar (I think). The employees tracked and recorded the temp of each every 2 hours. We enjoyed morning hikes followed by a soak, and then another soak before bed. It was really lovely.
