I loved running into the porcupine on the trail at night. I loved riding the gondola at night!! But the Peaks!!! Wow. We were traveling on the fly, so we only spent one night, but there was a lot to do and never leave the resort. WHEN we return, we will book more days so we can enjoy ALL the Peaks has to offer. Should we tell our favorite spa (Durango Hot Springs) that they are now second favorite? I guess there's room for both.

We really enjoyed the room and the facilities.

When we arrived a bell hop helped us get our stuff to our room. He agreed to take our ski stuff to ski valet and we gave him a generous tip. Next morning Ski valet didn't have any knowledge of our things and after freaking us out they found all our ski stuff on a cart somewhere in the hotel. Just had us worried.

We were visiting in the summer and enjoyed the convenience of many restaurants and the gondola just a short walk away. The other benefit was the pool and slide which were enjoyed by the grandkids for hours.

The pool opens early but I don't understand why the slide can't also open early or at least by 9 am. Parking is limited to valet only.

The location of hotel was really good. You could walk or take a gondola anywhere you needed to. The views were incredible. And the free gondola was great to take down into Telluride from Mountain Village.

The rooms could be updated more. With the really nice view the windows could have been better and not so old. There needs to be more places to sit in the room with a separate table and more chairs, and more options to plug in USB devices on both sides of the beds.

This location is gorgeous and the spa facilities are extensive and beautiful. The room was large and clean, though a bit dark. The food was really variable with some being excellent and others actually poor. The service also ranged, and I felt they were inexperienced. I would not stay anywhere else, though, as this swimming pool area, big slide, lap swim, and two hot tubs was fabulous.

Room was large, clean, well laid out. Loved the balcony; the bed was very comfortable; the sheets and towels were excellent. The hotel spa facilities were fabulous--clean, well-maintained. Attendents were friendly and personable. The view from the lobby and restaurant were breathtaking. Can't wait to return.

Daily parking fee is a little excessive = $34/day!!

Beautiful lodge

This rating does NOT apply to the valet guys; they were awesome. However, the overall staff was rather cold and unfriendly. Especially the hostesses and dining staff. Food was fair. The location and setting are beautiful but slightly overpriced. Our next stop was Silverton, and we ate at a place called Eureka Station, and the food and service were ten times better!!

I enjoyed the Resort & Spa amenities and service! We were treated well and look forward to future stays!

No car service! Would have been nice if a driver could drop us off in Telluride for dinner.

Everything!

Unfortunately our bed we slept in was not very comfortable. Mattress had slopes and dips in it and couldn't find a right angle to get a good night's rest

Absolutely gorgeous! Grounds were kept perfect!

CO was very hot during our stay and there was no AC in the hotel. Sleeping was pretty difficult. Also a wedding party was screaming at 2:00 am. Again, very hard to sleep. Spa prices were not realistic. Facials should be in the $200 to $250 range, maybe even $300.
