We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Goulielmos! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that take your breath away. It’s peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing, and just a 10-minute walk from a great variety of restaurants. The food at the hotel itself was also fantastic. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone was so kind, generous, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to the lovely Maria (she’s truly the best!), as well as Simon and Natalia - you all made us feel so welcome and looked after. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!

Obsessed with this hotel! The staff: Natalia, Ellie, George, and Paris were absolutely fantastic! We had a room with our own pool. Get the breakfast to your room. It’s wonderful. The edge restaurant was also excellent food. We made friends with George who would give us wine recommendations when we went back to our room. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and honeymoon. Book this place immediately!

It’s a little off the beaten path but honestly my husband and I loved that fact. You will need to either rent a car or we rented an ATV. We also got taxi’s or transfers as they call them.

The hotel is located in a stunning spot with a view over the entire caldera. The sunsets here are truly breathtaking. One of the advantages is that the hotel is situated outside the main tourist areas, so you don’t have to worry about crowds.

There aren’t many places for evening walks around the hotel — right outside the gate, there’s a road that doesn’t seem to have a sidewalk (don’t worry, though — you can’t hear any traffic noise from inside the hotel).

The rooms, while modest in decor, are practical and cater to all basic needs, though improved soundproofing would enhance the comfort for guests. The hotel's staff shines with their warm hospitality, particularly the morning duo whose friendly demeanor starts the day on a bright note. The breakfast is a feast for the senses, featuring a delightful array of choices crowned with freshly squeezed orange juice. The Edge restaurant presents an unforgettable culinary experience, complemented by a breathtaking sunset that adds to the splendor of its delectable menu. A small suggestion for improvement would be for the approachable yet reserved hotel owner to take a more proactive approach in greeting guests, fostering a more personal connection that reflects the overall amiable atmosphere of the hotel. This minor adjustment could elevate the already charming experience at Hotel Goulielmos, making it not just a stay, but a memorable encounter with the heart of hospitality. Should I have the opportunity to return to Santorini, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Amazing place , everything according description ! -Hotel & Bar/Restaurant staff professional and high quality. - use of the pool without time limit - nice sunset from hotel without stress to go somewhere after a nice day around the island - day of the check out you can stay and enjoy the pool waiting your transfer to Harbor or Airport - reception staff really helpful to organize rent / info etc.

Maybe could be a suggest during the winter closure , maybe was just in our room , please put some Hangers in the bathroom, while no chance to put bath towels somewhere.

The view from this hotel is to die for. The rooms are huge and very clean. A complimentary bottle of wine in the room was a nice touch. The girl on reception was exceptionally helpful. The breakfast had everything you could wish for. Possibly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in….and at a reasonable cost. Dinner at The Edge restaurant was top quality.

The view is great, the staff is great. The rooms are clean and the amenities are complete. It's perfect. The restaurant next door was the best we had in Santorini, so we went there twice for dinner. It's also great that the bus stop is right in front of us.

I had a small child with me, so the bus didn't come on time and it was difficult to get to the city center. It's good to have a rental car for small children.

Amazing location, we were there during high winds but the staff did an amazing job trying to keep everywhere clean and tidy

We received a free upgrade to a suite, for which we were very grateful but the room was still very small and the ridge was very noisy so had to be turned off

Great location, peaceful, away from the madness that afflicts much of Santorini these days, easy access to both port and airport. Stylish and comfortable and the staff are excellent - welcoming, kind, efficient. Nice breakfast with a fabulous view. Stayed here many times on the way to and from other islands.

Although the staff in the restaurant are great and the view is wonderful the food is a little pretentious and expensive.

We spent 4 nights in a family room with a stunning view and private plunge pool. The room was well appointed and very comfortable, with the children (aged 7 and 5) having their own single beds. It is not the largest family room but it is well appointed with a coffee machine, kettle, TV, lots of towels, toiletries, dressing gowns, etc and rose wine on ice and fruit for our arrival. We loved the location, having breakfast served on our terrace and the ambience by the main pool. We hired a car to explore the island and although we saw many people waiting for local buses, the hotel has free parking. The staff are excellent and super friendly.

We had to unplug the fridge at night as it was a tad noisy. The food at the Edge restaurant is lovely but you wouldn't want to eat there every night, so need to venture further afield which although not far, is easiest to drive.
