Fabulous location right in centre of the town the family that own it are amazing hosts so hospitable and we had a good few laughs with them they were very entertaining and interesting. The standard room was perfectly clean and value for money with lots of extras tea coffee usb points and comfortable beds. The breakfast was continental but served at the table and coffee was extra special and John made us lots of extra cups as we got chatting to another table of guests it such a friendly hotel. The best of all was the roof top bar which is stunning with an honesty bar we were there for the light fiesta so we danced late into the night listening to the band below us in the main plaza. We will definitely be back!

We loved everything. A high quality finish everywhere.The room was stunning with a four poster bed, the shower powerful and even a kettle to make tea/coffee. A beautiful roof terrace with tables, chairs and sunbeds overlooking the castle along with a great breakfast. I am gluten free and was able to eat well...toast, eggs, meat, fruit, juice, coffee etc. My husband had freshly baked croissants. The owner John was extremely hospitable giving us a free drink to celebrate my husband´s birthday. Highly recommend this hotel !! 11 out of 10.

Excellent location. Superbly appointed large bedroom and bathroom. Lovely decoration in the room and throughout the hotel. Very clean throughout. Superb roof-top terrace and excellent breakfast, spoilt for choice and quantity and the hosts extremely friendly and helpful. Don't want to recommend in-case it's fully booked when we want to return. It is Excellent and probably one of the best stays we've ever had

Having to leave

Tasteful decor, personality, and attention to detail in rooms. Modern and spacious bathroom. Amenities typical of higher category hotels. Very small hotel, with personalised attention to guests. Management super friendly, caring and responsive.

The auto-check-in process failed to recognise the ID cards, so I had to manually enter the data for all guests. It becomes repetitive and prone to errors.

Breakfast was perfect. Fresh and delicious. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. We were able to have some wonderful conversations with fellow travellers and the owner. We looked forward to a good coffee to start our day.

The bell was quiet loud but honestly it was a great experience so I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but it was unexpected.

John was the perfect host, making sure I was settled in and showing me the amenities of Busot. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and well appointed. A few steps up was the lovely roof terrace to watch the sun set with a glass of vino tinto. And the breakfast? Awesome! I highly recommend BHS if you want to spend some time in the hills above Alicante, especially fellow bikers! Will definitely come down again but with bike and hopefully get a ride in together then John! :) Thanks again John for looking after me so well.

This hotel is a very cozy hotel in the centre of Busot. It is run by a very friendly and helpful couple and the service is excellent here. You feel extremely welcome, you feel home. We woke up every morning to the fragrance of freshly baked croissants straight out of the oven. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the bathroom installations are functional and well maintained, the beds are very comfortable and includes a small balcony facing the town hall square. The location is phenomenal right in the city centre and close to the municipal park, lots of activities available, bike rental, jeep renta, padel court etc and great restaurants and bars nearby. There are playgrounds nearby for kids as well. Of course the Canelobre caves are nearby and attract a lot of tourists. There seem to be quite a number of events happening in Busot. During the 2 days we were there we saw several events and concerts take place. Comes highly recommended!

There wasn't anything we did not like

John and his wife were absolutely fantastic! They helped us in so many ways that we did not know how to thank them! the room was absolutely amazing, the little village was fabulous, and the breakfast was served to us like kings and queens! Our stay could not be improved! Thank you again so much!!!

Wish we could stay a couple of days longer and relax and enjoy the hotel and the village... :(

Hosts great. Location nice. Parking availability.

Not enough towels, werent replaced daily.. For a boutique hotel, toiletries could be better and a facecloth would have been good or body scrub. Limited access for.food.and drinks due to hotel.not bring staffed throughout the day and limited option in the village. However still.enjoyable. would stay again.

very friendly and welcoming with lots of great suggestions for things to do. Room comfortable and stylish. Air conditionned and well insulated.
