I could easily say "little to no normal hotel service as such, apart from bedrooms upkeep and daily available breakfast, as an hotel attendant is not available on a 24/7 basis but rather on business companies normal business hours and/but when there always helpful. I would not spend one week or so in that hotel but for a few nights it totally suited our purpose for my wife and I during our touristic visit and stay in Porvoo. Thank you to the hotel staff whom we saw and talked to during our stay in their hotel.

The hotel has an underground parking that can make your life much easier in winter: it has a reasonable temperature and no ice and snow! When I visited the hotel was even almost empty. The parking spots have to be reserved and are labeled: 15euro per day well spent! The breakfast is not bad at all, but for 4 euro it is amazing! Good hygiene and neat public areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even if they are not always on site they answer very fast.

My room had no closed wardrobe and the space for the suitcase fits only a medium one. If I were to spend more than a few days I would have run out of space. I appreciate the two level rack for shoes in the open wardrobe: good for separating indoors from outdoors.

Travelling with a friend, we found the twin room spacious and very comfortable. We had a nice one-night stay at this hotel over the weekend. The hotel also had a sauna, which was a nice addition to our stay and made for a relaxing experience. The location was very convenient, making getting around and exploring the area easy. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection to start the day. Overall, it is a pleasant option for a quick weekend trip.

Very central location, comfy beds in a clean room, good breakfast. Staff were very friendly, check-in and check out went both smoothly.

Noisy room, there was some kind of HVAC ventilation or something similar that was quite loud. Also, the hotel does not really have proper bicycle storage, would recommend thinking of that. Frame locking bike racks could be provided for example in the parking hall.

Price-quality ratio was quite good. Accomondation was clean and most likely recently renovated. Room was slightly plainly decorated and equipped. Breakfast was simple, but still very valid and good from fresh ingridients. Location of the hotel in the middle of the city was good - all the main attractions can easily be reached by foot. Several restaurants and shops within few minutes walk.

The city block, where hotel is located, is in middle of maybe most busy are of city centrum. Streets passing the hotel are a bit narrow and easily crowded, so the hotel is slightly difficult to reach by car. The parking space offered by hotel can be very tight depending on which place you receive. The hotel entrance is very modest and not that notable.

Spent nice couple of nights at Hotel Sparre. Room was good and so was central location of the hotel. Breakfast was perhaps not as great as in big hotels but good enough for us and we enjoy it. The young guy in the reception was very friendly.

The breakfast was good, the location perfect and the staff nice.

As the previous guests have mentioned, there's no aircon, and it was +30° outdoors. We managed without boiling by keeping the window wide open and the fan blowing from the window towards the room.

Very convenient location, one or two ninutes walk from the bus station and about 5 minutes walk to Porvoo Old Town. We loved the breakfast buffet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely come back!

I did not go to breakfast as I was going to an early meeting at another place with food serving. I was happy with the possibility to make tea/coffee in the room, and also pleased with the help in storing my luggage at the hotel after I had given up the room. The central location suited my needs very well.

Location was near the city center but nothing special

The room was much too hot, due to the lack of air conditioning. The parking lots in the garage are next to the garbage containers of a supermarket, so that it really smells.
