Got room upgrade, and the room and bathrooms felt new and clean. Pools and gardens were well-maintained. Easy walk to beautiful, barely used beach.

Glasses and tea cup on the room were not clean. Bed sheets had staining. Pool chairs were filthy. Twice when I paid the bill, staff did not bring back my change — 800+ Lkr. Breakfast was 45 min late one morning and 30 min late another. Tuk tuk drivers outside the gate were aggressive, as if I’m not allowed to walk or use PickMe.

This hotel is really great. I stayed here with my wife and friends for 4 days and we had a great time. The rooms are big, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is huge. The breakfast is served on the terrace in front of the rooms and it is great. The best thing is the garden with beautiful plants and the pools where you can sit and hang out. We ordered food once and it was served to us on a table by the pool. The food is very good, the portions are big...just be careful not to make it too spicy. The staff is extremely nice and friendly (as in the whole country).

The room is cleaned every 3 days and the towels should be changed more often because the humidity is high and they cannot dry out.

The accommodation was an oasis of peace, with a beautiful environment, gardens, and, most importantly, pools. The rooms were clean, and everything worked perfectly (air conditioning, TV, Netflix). The staff was extremely kind and very helpful. They assigned us a better room than we had booked, with a view of the pool. The lady arranged transportation from the airport to the hotel for us. The food was excellent, and it is possible to order it to the room or by the pool. A clean and quiet beach is located nearby. The accommodation was simply excellent. High recommended!! Nirmal Villa is truly a hidden gem, surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful gardens, and 2 amazing swimming pools. The rooms were spotless, and everything functioned smoothly—from the air conditioning to the TV and Wi-Fi. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Special mention to Janaka who was very helpful ! We were upgraded to a room with a stunning pool view, which made our stay even more special. The breakfast was delicious and habaraduwa beach is just a walk away, perfect for relaxing. Overall, the experience was outstanding 💯

I was so excited to stay here following all the reviews I'd read. It's true that it is a beautiful oasis, with the lovely pool amongst all the greenery. For the cost it is great value for money.

I was a little disappointed initially as the room we had, although we were upgraded to a triple room, was quite basic. It was the only place we stayed in Sri Lanka that didn't supply you with water, tea, coffee, hairdryer etc. We had to pay for bottled water, although it was a minimal charge.

It was truly an amazing stay and probably the best accommodation we had during our trip . The scenery is amazing with two pools and a beautiful garden. The facilities exceed any expectation, you can do anything from barbecue to crocodile tours and a very analytical guide is provided to you. The staff is amazing and helped us all the day, providing us with everything needed! The rooms were super clean and had a modern design. We event extended our stay because we just couldn’t leave the hotel. Thank you for the experience ༺♡༻

The most beautiful grounds! The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Swimming pools were most appreciated. Staff helped us with getting transport etc.

The food was abysmal. We ordered once from the kitchen and that was not good, so after that we ate out. Breakfast was less than average. Also staff forgot one of our orders for bottled water. Though we were told that we could pay using card, only some payments could be done that way which was most inconvenient and involved a walk to the atm in the heat of our last morning.

- Upon arrival, I received a receipt for accommodation in rupees that was over 50% higher than the original reservation in US dollars. Luckily, I noticed this and had US dollars in hand. - I was charged 9,000 rupees for laundry services, which I later found out cost around 2,000 rupees elsewhere. - During a heavy downpour, the roof leaked and water came into the room. - The air conditioning unit was very old and made too much noise to sleep comfortably with it turned on. - During my four-night stay, no one removed the trash from my room even once or bring fresh towels. - The food items on the menu were always cold when served.

Staff was very helpful. And location was exquisite. Better than i expected. When i left the hotel i forgot my gold chain at hotel. Staff found it and hand it over to me safely. I really appreciate it. I can't say thank you enough for that. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone. Main thing i make sure you dont have to worry about anything you leave at hotel. They will hand it over to you safely. And i highly appreciated the managment of the hotel. Everthing is neat. Thank you for all.

There is nothing i didn't like about the resort. Everything was awesome.
