The first morning the food was great, then it went down a little, but we still really enjoyed it. It ended up working out great. In the past we chose a hotel In Walking distance from the main Street, but it actually really worked out this time to drive to main Street. It was clean, nice and enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again!

The breakfast on Saturday was great, but Sunday and Monday it was not great. There was no gravy for biscuits and then when they brought it, it was really watery and gross. It seemed like the staff were having a hard time keeping up with the breakfast with all of the people staying there.

The hotel was on par with most hotels of its class.

The only complaint was that this hotel is very hard to find with google map. It is very close to the highway, but the way to get to it is complicated. If you have difficulty with orientation then, look carefully at the map before attempting to get to it. The employee at the reception desk said that Durango itself is difficult to navigate if you're new to the city. The location in convenient to the freeway but little else. The shopping center next to it seems to have very few stores open.

That it was pet friendly and location was ideal very close to town and the walking path across the street was great for having a dog

There were no carrier carts to haul luggage and items took over 1.5 hours to haul everything in and out each time. Some staff were friendly others were not - the drapes were not even fully hanging on the windows and dangling part off

Booking.com made several errors with my reservation, however, the hotel staff were very accommodating and managed to fix the mistakes, even though one room was more expensive and several rooms away. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was okay. The staff was super!

I hadn't realized that I booked through Booking.com, I thought I had booked directly with La Quinta. Unfortunately, Booking.com messed up the reservations. These were the issues: The request for two rooms close together did not get to the hotel. Since the hotel did not receive the request for two rooms close together, I had to pay extra for a room on the same floor, which was several rooms away from the rest of my family. Also, both rooms were under my guest's name, not mine, which was confusing to the hotel. When we checked out I had to make two separate payments. One room that was reserved was handicap accessible, which we did not request. We had 3 adults and 2 children, not 6 adults. Will not use Booking.com again.

After a stay in one of the inn at Durango couple of days ago, I wasn't expecting this! It is a hotel with full amenities, breakfast included, and the staff were super nice! And I paid the same price as the inn my family stayed in. The hotel's location is about 5-7mins away from the "center" of Durango to find good restaurants. There's a good movie theater 2 mins walk from the hotel where we end up watching a movie after dinner. I definitely recommend staying here.

Entrance is located only on one side of the street. If you are new to the place, you might turn a street before the hotel's entrance. Then you will have no choice but to go back to the highway and loop back. An arrow or a sign near the property can be helpful.

The hotel was fine, clean, functional, and as expected. They had a large group of firefighters staying at the property so exceptionally long line checking in. One of the reasons we stayed at the hotel was location to the river trail. Primary negatives - we aren't a fan of the type of breakfasts served at the property, which is similar to many others. The other noticeable thing was weeds on the outside. Entire area including the property badly needs some regular landscaping maintenance. Other than being a hot summer it was fine.

The staff was excellent. Sky in particular was very helpful. After we had checked out of the hotel, I was contacted by Sky informing me that we had left a valuable piece of electronics in our hotel room. She informed me that she had it and want to return it. Thank you Sky and housekeeping for being so honest and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent and just a few short minutes to historic downtown Durango. The white-water rafting company was equally as close.

The breakfast was subpar from the standpoint of food items not being replenished in a timely manner. Guests were left waiting for a lengthy period of time. The person responsible for the food area carried an attitude and didn't show much concern for everyone's wait. The jacuzzi wasn't working while we were there and the pool was also closed for one of the days we were there.

The room was good. The reception staffs were very nice and helpful all the time.

Proactive room service, change of towels, soap every day was missing. Also, Sunday breakfast service was not up to the mark due to non availability of staffs and the receptionist has to manage the breakfast service as much as possible:(

Breakfast, lobby area was vary clean and gave you a warm family feeling as you came and go, fireplace and couch sitting made you think of a comforting place to be with family or friends gathering around in the evening. And having coffee, tea and hot coco and cold drinking water available in the evenings was vary nice,The staff was very friendly and made it easy to talk with them for information and just chatting about the area, shopping, attractions etc.

Not being able to stay a bit longer to see more of the area and what Durango has to offer for vacationing.

We had a great stay. Check in staff was very friendly and accomodated our early arrival. Room was clean, the hotel was in a convenient area to access downtown Durango. Would stay here again.

Everything was good EXCEPT the fire alarm going off (twice) at 6am waking us from a sound sleep, with no explanation from the staff we were confused as to what we should do.
