This is a budget inn, so keep expectations modest. The towels are quite worn—bringing your own is a good idea. Complimentary toiletries like soap are not provided, but bringing your own solves that easily. The bed was clean and comfortable, which was our main concern as we only needed a place to sleep. The room includes a small full-size fridge, a compact hotplate, a microwave, and a limited selection of pots and pans. However, there were some dirty dishes left in the microwave, and if you plan to cook, it's best to bring your own pots and pans for convenience and cleanliness. The pet policy is straightforward, and our pet did just fine during the stay—no issues at all.

It could have been cleaner and the shower faucet was a bit wonky.

Shower head was nice and high, most motels I have stayed in, it is too low! And I stand 6 foot tall. The room had a refrigerator and microwave, which we used. The motel is all on one level, no stairs to climb with our luggage.

No hooks in the room for clothes/hats. My wife was looking forward to using a coffee pot for her morning coffee. In the ad we saw online it looked like a coffee pot in one of the room pictures.

The motel is very close to a lot of restaurants and amenities that come in handy. I always walk to any place that i need to go and feel safe. The rooms are clean and comfortable and you have your car parked close to your room in case you forget something. The staff is top notch and friendly always very helpful. When in Durango i always stay here for the price, the cleanliness, conviniance, and the friendly staff.

The premiss is not updated like some of the fancier downtown joints, but you are also not paying $175 plus a night. Besides minor appearance esthetics there is nothing i can complaint about!

Everything was good, I asked for a ground floor and the staff person worked that detail out for us and that made it easier for us to get our bags in.

That I did have to pay 25 cents for a bucket of ice. That we were confused about the two remotes and especially how to work the remote so upon called the desk, we couldnt really understand what she was saying

Lovely welcome on arrival. Marvellous value for money considering the location which was ideal for the Durango Railway about a mile away and half a mile or so from Downtown. We opted to stay for an extra night and were given an upgraded room as our room was unavailable. Wonderful. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and tidy. If your priority is freebie shower gels then these are not supplied. A good thing too. Far too much single use plastic as it is.

There is nothing to critique

Good location, staff was amazing!!!! this might be a "budget" hotel but but don't that scare you off. You're gonna get what you need for a good night sleep. Clean sheets, hot shower, no nasty carpet, microwave, fridge. You'll feel safe, get pleasant staff, willing to help at any min. We couldn't figure the TV out and, they were there almost before I hung up the phone 👍 No, you don't get breakfast but, that's why the price is more reasonable probably. It looks like they're definitely trying to do some upgrades, which are needed. We stayed the first night in a smaller room, took the narrow gauge to Silverton and, decided to stand Durango another night so, I called to reserve another room. They were so gracious to upgrade us to a suit that had been somewhat remodeled 😁 my husband and I are normally somewhat picky about our motels. This one served us just fine for the hours we needed it. We will definitely be back to Durango and this would be our spot 👍😁

Although our stay was pleasant. And we will definitely be back. I would suggest, freshening up the rooms with newer bedspreads and pillows. They definitely have lived their life and are ready to go to the homeless.

room was good, basics were all there, fridge, tv, microwave. best part was water, instantly hot. room was heated as well. wasnt luxury or anything but thats not what i paid for. had ample parking.

all was good. no swimming pool or gym but thats not what i came for lol.

It is a conveniently located place to stay. It is reliable. We have stayed here several times.

It is an older motel, so some of the age shows on the walls, though it is evident that they do the best they can with what they can afford to do.

Nice clean room. Great price. Nothing fancy but good if you're just looking for a night's rest

The rooms need to have a coffee pot. I didn't like where I had to park my car where I couldn't see it. My particular room had the parking spot by the street

Very very clean room. Good location. A quick stay…I live a few hours away and had an early morning flight. Perfect room for my needs. Front desk host was excellent. Bed was very comfy.

Can’t think of anything. Would stay here again.
