We had a lovely stay, good food at Frida's, saw 3 beautiful deer at the park just hanging around in the parking lot, enjoyed sitting in the garden, appreciated the comfy room, woke to a gorgeous Colorado day and were truly grateful for April-her genuine love for her "job", her friendliness towards her guests and her desire to make our stay relaxing and memorable! We will definitely stay again and recommend Siesta Motel to others! 🌵🌺🌻

Too short a stay

Dog friendly, charming 1950’s-style roadside motel with well-kept, fully functional modernized touches that made for a comfy stay. Nice, hot shower after a long day of exploring was welcome! Microwaves, mini-fridges, other accouterments that made our time at the Siesta delightful. Our dog was happy— so we were, too!

We enjoyed all aspects of this motel.

The room was bright and clean. The beds were really comfy and individual air unit was easy to program. We’ve stayed here before but not since the rooms were renovated. The staff were very accommodating. I’d forgotten to bring a bottle opener for my wine. They not only provided an opener, they gave me a wine glass to use during our stay.

I liked a lot of the sustainability features (no single use shampoo...quality toilet paper...coffee in glass). The gazebo was cool. TV didn't work but it doesn't really matter to me.

Quality of shampoo and conditioner could be slightly improved. Also sheets were washed in harsh chemicals it seems. Somewhat understandable for a motel but I think the detergent could improve (something more natural).

Stylish retro place a little out of town but in walking distance to some restaurants and on the tram line. Staff and owner are friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows are comfy. Quality toiletries. There’s an enclosed gazebo with cozy seating, games and some vinyl records and record player to enjoy.

Room was big, clean, and comfy. The AC worked well and the staff was friendly. They had a cool little gazebo where you could chill or play games. They're was a lil fridge and microwave which was nice.

The neighborhood was a bit shady but it didn't really bother us that much. Beds were a bit stiff.

The room was clean and the A/C was 👍! They had a “guest room” that had extra towels, indoor throw away slippers, creamer for coffee, tooth brush/paste…front desk staff was very friendly! If we visit Durango again, we will definitely stay at Siesta!

Internet could be faster!

What a cute and comfortable motel! Brought back memories of the great places where we stayed as kids on our road trips around the country with our parents back in the 1960s, updated to 2025 standards. Clean and comfortable and staff was warm and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, courtyard is relaxing at night. Very clean, great in room coffee ☕️ Camp is the sweetest dog. Wifi is great. Loved the vintage look and simple decor of rooms.

Parking is a little tight for lg. vehicles. Need full-length mirror and extra shelves in the bathroom. Need local news channels on TV.

Such a cute vibe, so cozy, loved the pour over equipment and decor. Confortable beds too. My girls got a kick out of the little game room in the middle green area. Great location - easy walk to the river trail and coffee shops.
