The location. That was in the downtown area and it was close to the shops. Really wasn’t staying there to go shopping or anything as I live in the area just down the road but it’s always been a nice area you get to see the trains go by.

The trains but you get used to it. And I don’t really mind that they were going by. You can’t hear the traffic so that was the only thing you could really hear. Then obviously if you heard people walk by, but there wasn’t anybody walking by our room. Some of the furniture definitely needs to get a little bit of an upgrade but I don’t really care.

Breakfast good and i was able to eat it in my room. Although I did not use them, the ironing board and iron are a really good idea, and the hair dryer.

The coffee machine in the room was hard to use and I suspect a part of it, a filter, perhaps, may be missing, although I had not used such a machine before. I think more that one pouch of each type of coffee could be provided and the requisite extra milk and sugar.

Location and Rooms beds Queen size frigobar and private bathroom. Spotlessly clean! Front desk always helpful. Extramile públic bus service may pick you up on your call to go downtown. Supermarket pizzaria and Kohls dept nearby. I recommend this motel in oldsaybrook CT.

Very comfortable bed: firm but plush mattress, great pillows, soft sheets. Very quiet (Sat. night). Good water pressure in shower. The room was very clean and had all the amenities: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, good Wi-Fi, hair dryer, cable TV…. The AC/heat/fan unit works well and is very quiet. The woman at the front desk is always sooo nice! The location is very convenient to everything. I have stayed here many times. Great value! As a lone female traveler, I always feel safe here.

Nice hot shower with good water pressure. I used fridge and microwave, both worked fine. Heating unit worked well too! I was quite comfy

Very blatant hairs in the bathroom on the toilet and sink when I arrived. No breakfast as promised on booking.com!! and coffee was terrible

The beds were very comfortable and we had a fantastic sleep. Breakfast is still just a goodie bag but it was sufficient for us and included a water each, juice, fruit cup, granola bar and some sweet snacks. Located right off the highway for ease.

Room is a bit dated and could use some TLC but worked for one night.

The only problem was the WiFi kept cutting in and out so hard to do anything on my Labtop or download a movie to watch needs a lot more stable WiFi connection

I slept sooo well — great mattress and pillows, soft sheets. The room was clean and had the amenities I like: a mini fridge with freezer, coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer…. I like the laminate flooring (instead of carpet). The sweet woman at the front desk is always very nice and accommodating. Parking is right outside the rooms. Very convenient location near beaches and restaurants. I like staying here and feel safe and comfortable.

The staff accommodated us for a first floor room, as my husband is disabled. Room very clean and comfortable. Was within distance of many aces to eat and shop.

Beds were a little high, for me because I am short. Otherwise everything was good.
