We enjoyed the breakfast, it was a step above the free breakfast offered by chain hotels. The food was fresh and made to order. The breakfast room was clean and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and available to help. Once you walk into the hotel, you are transported to a great experience. Even though our room was on the streetside, our sleep was not disturbed by traffic, which was minimal.

The venue was a good tradeoff between price and location. We used a taxi to get to the old city, which we had expected to do when we booked. If we were staying longer, we would have stayed within a shorter walking distance to the old city.

The room was much larger than the photos showed. It had a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor garden. The complimentary breakfast was made to order and was delicious. The staff, Francisco, was extremely helpful. We had some concerns about the security in Quito, but Francisco answered all of our questions that put us at ease during our stay.

Fantastic family run hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. We were treated as if we were family for the whole of our visit. We were given lots of information about places to visit in Quito. We had the best breakfasts of our 3 week stay in Ecuador. Lovely accommodation in a perfect location, we would most definitely return if we stayed in Quito again. Thank you fir having us.

This is a truly amazing hotel in Quito - a truly amazing find. We loved this hotel! Our room was fabulous & very clean & comfortable. It truly was outstanding - our room was a full apartment with a private patio. The staff were fabulous & had awesome recommendations and were very helpful. Breakfast was amazing with made to order eggs & French toast. The location is awesome being a 5 min walk from Plaza Foch and lots of great bars & restaurants. We for sure will stay here when we visit Quito in the future!

Everything about the hotel itself was really thoughtfully designed. It was lovely, including a roof terrace! Our host (Francisco) was really helpful and friendly in a gentle polite way, suggesting places to visit, explaining how to get around easily (and cheaply)... The breakfasts were just right, a choice of fruits, yoghurts, cooked dish(es), drinks... The area was quiet but, like a lot of Quito, best not to wander around at night. It was a $4 taxi ride to the Old Town (lots of taxis) but also worth visiting some local places such as the covered market.

Nothing, a perfect choice!

We were met at the airport late at night by driver arranged by the hotel, and were met at the door by Francisco when we arrived. He has been available for the entire stay to provide advice and see that everything was going smoothly. The room is great, bed, bath and sitting area. High quality fixtures and decorating noted. The location is good but it is close to the entertainment district so there will be some expected revelry and activity noted in the evening, but it was not a problem. I would stay here again

Francisco the manager is very obliging and helpful, a great asset for the hotel. our room was spacious and comfortable. we enjoyed the breakfasts and bar facilities. the hotel is not far from major shopping precinct and botanic gardens. getting laundry done was simple, very quick and cheap

the hotel does not have an elevator. the nearby streets are somewhat worrying as most of the shops are permanantly closed and it is a bit run down. Our room had a small kitchen which would benefit from having some more kitchen items.

All the facilities in the room were in excellent condition, the room is large and fully equipped, the beds are very comfortable, everything is clean and tidy. A very tasty breakfast, in the atmosphere of a French cafe, pleasant , music in the background, excellent service from Francesco Including: additional breakfast when we arrived to early check-in in the morning, excellent recommendations and direction for a trip to the city and a restaurant, answers to every request and availability at any hour out of a sincere desire to help

I understand the location has become less safe than it was and I think that the authorities are doing things to address that.

Excellent property. I stayed in spacious & comfortable room 26. Bathroom facilities fully functional with great pressure shower & hot water. Francisco who assists in the property management is a great source of information. he’s quite charming & tranquilo. Breakfast is a plus. Very safe. The property caters to your needs. I would stay here again without hesitation. it felt like home.
