Casa Foch, such a quaint home style accomodation. Included daily breakfast our host Enrico was amazing, offering tips for food and organising transfers when required. We felt safe and secure. Only a short walking distance to Plaza Foch which has lots of nightlife and food options. There is some noise of an evening however it doesn’t go all night. Hot water is provided all day and on demand of a night time as it can be noisy. The traditional breakfast includes eggs, toast and fruit with coffee and juice. The compound is secure and staff available at all hours.

Enrique greeted us and cared for us warmly. We were only there for one night so we couldn't take more advantage of the offerings of this really cool, maze like old house. The water was hot, the bed was comfortable, and the decor classy. Most impressive place we stayed in Ecuador, with the best night's rest even though we were on the road. Close proximity to Mercado Mariscal as well, which we took advantage of. Definitely would return.

Internet didn't work, but we were only here for one night and didn't try to solve the problem. I'm sure there's a way.

24小时接待 my flight delayed a lot, almost arrived at 5am. still have people on service. the bed is comfortable.

the email said that the breakfast is until 10:00am. but they finished earlier than 9:30am. anyway they has a notice in the room said the breakfast until 9:30am, but my flight delayed so much, so i did't notice their announcement sleep until 9:20 and go downstairs ,they don't have the breakfast at that time. and my room doesn't prepare toilet paper and bottle water. i only sleep a short time and check out, so i didn't have time asking them. and the email said check out at 2pm. also wrong.

We loved the staff--both Eddie and Enrique were fabulous! We enjoyed the breakfast they served every morning. We enjoyed some of the nearby restaurants, and a great book store called El Farol that was just down the street.

Although we didn't have any problems, the area is a bit sketchy. We actually enjoyed our stay in the area, however we also realize that some people might feel uneasy there.

The property is located conveniently at a central location. There are many good restaurants and departmental stores at a walking distance. There is also a very large park nearby for jogging or walking. The staff is coordial and helping. I felt at home with them being so friendly. Both Endrike and Eduardo are amazing people. They go the extra mile to make guests feel just as at home. A good morning breakfast is icing on top. It is normally from 8 to 10 but the staff is very accomodative so do not worry. The rooms are cosy and decent. Not extravagant or overloaded. Rooms are of very good size. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is superb. My stay was the best, which money can get. Would love to go there again if given the opportunity.

Couldn’t fault the property itself. Hosts were excellent - went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay. Lovely room with comfortable bed and a balcony ( I had a superior queen). Shower was of a great pressure (in the evening you had to ask for the boiler to be turned on but it was no issue - 5 minute wait if that). Breakfast was great - fruit, toast and eggs. Coffee was strong. Location was fine for me but appreciate proximity to Plaza Foch isn’t for everyone. I had no issues with this - and the property has a locked gate at the entrance too! I would stay again.

There is a karaoke bar across the road that I could hear but ear plugs do the trick (and I did go to bed early-ish around 10pm). Also, the stairs are creaky because it is an old property so I was woken up around 7:30 each morning - but I wasn’t planing on lying in bed all day anyway so that wasn’t a big issue for me.

Eduardo and Enrique were terrific hosts. They were very keen to make sure my stay was comfortable and they both speak very good English which was very helpful to me. Everything was done with a smile. Casa Foch is a really clean, well-maintained building and it’s ashort walk to the plaza and the market.

Such a nice colonial house with remodeled facilities just next to Plaza Foch! The receptionists were extremely nice and attentive. Convenient and safe location even in the evening and easy to get Uber. Breakfast wasn't a big feast but was convenient and sufficient for me. The beddings were luxurious compared with other hostels I stayed in Quito. I have stayed at other hostels with much much worse conditions but even higher price in Quito so this hostel was such a pleasant surprise for me.

Wednesday to Saturday night the street karaoke could get busy (I didn't hear anything on Tuesday night). It was not that bothering for me and I just used ear plugs and slept well.

Location was ideal - I wanted somewhere safe where I could walk out to bars and restaurants of an evening and close to the buses into Old Town. Breakfast was lovely; fresh fruit, scrambled egg and toast. Being a Brit I took my own tea bags. I couldn't speak highly enough of the lads who run the place. They looked after me, pointing me in the safest directions and ensuring my uber drivers were genuine. Secure room to leave my luggage whilst I went to Galapagos and Mindo.

Bit of damp in the room but reminded me of my centuries old home in England! Stick to the main streets around Foch Plaza at night - whilst I didn't feel in danger at all it makes sense to lesten any potential risk.

The 2 brothers who run the Hotel were so lovely and kind, and couldn’t be more helpful . Eduardo was very charismatic too. The rooms were very clean with nice bedding too. A lovely building with lovely wooden floors and features.
