I love everything about this property! This was our 3rd stay. It all began with staying there as we traveled to and from the Galápagos Islands. While that is still true, we now book several days at La Palma and do some tours around Quito and plenty of time to enjoy the horses at the hotel. The rooms are over the top grand and the food is excellent. Perfect place for a romantic weekend or throw a special party. Lovely in every way!

What an elegant property. The management could not have been more accommodating on both of our visits! The rooms were mini houses with the largest, most comfy beds I’ve ever slept in. Both lengthwise side of the room were glass and one side opened into a manicured courtyard and the other onto a polo field. In the morning after a delicious breakfast we walked to the stable area and watched the horses being exercised against the backdrop of the Andes. The restaurant was over and beyond in a 4-star meal and the staff was always attentive. We’ve stayed twice now and the next visit will definitely be around a polo match.

Having to say goodbye.

The whole place is pretty lovely. The room is massive with a very big bed and is nicely decorated with high ceilings and the staff are very nice. The pool is nice and the restaurant had good food too.

The lack of lighting at night! We arrived at night when it was raining. we had to walk through a mud path with no lights. I would expect a hotel like this to install lighting around the place and a path through the mud for guests with suitcases! Because it's an open plan set up and not very sealed expect to share the room with mosquitoes! And then the loud music at night was very annoying. The place is popular for parties and it ended after 11 pm. Which meant we couldn't sleep before this time.

The rooms are gorgeous, enormous and extremely comfortable. The new heated pool. The scenery, the horses. Great spot, great value

It's a place the runs on events, but staying guests should not be felt set aside. The magic is in t details. And to many details are not right. The room a big but also run down, better offer to turn on the chimney and with dry wood, a nice tinny kitchen but no coffee, the bread and cheese never arrived at breakfast, even after insisting, to busy to set up a brunch for 200p. Nice heated pool and spa area but no one to be find for towels n drinks.

A beautiful quiet location but near to the airport. Good food and restaurant. Fantastic rooms on the lake. Able to experience a working polo club(ponies out being exercised etc)

Unfortunately we chose the hotel to use the spa and swimming pool as we had a late flight back to the UK but the swimming pool was having maintenance and the Spa is only open at the weekends. Obviously it’s their winter but they could of let us know. Even then the spa was fully booked when we arrived at 2pm. So a bit disappointing really.

The hotel is beautiful and my suite was superb with a view on to the garden at the front and the polo pitch at the rear. Food was superb, both breakfast and evening meal. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The outdoor heated pool and spa/gym facilities were clean and well equipped. A peaceful environment, perfect for some R+R..

The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the suite I stayed it was well appointed, clean, with premium linens, & bath products. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The restaurant had a nice selection and the food was well prepared. The entire experience was top notch.

The dining area was a bit cold and sitting in the metal chairs without cushions made it more so. They have stand heaters but I was pretty chilly even in pants & a sweater.

We had quick overnight between Galapagos and Amazon and this hotel was a lovely little oasis. We wished we had longer to stay and enjoy the facilities. The staff was very accommodating, getting a very last-minute masseuse for an individual in our party who was having a lot of leg pain. The restaurant staff handled our large party well and we had a very good meal. The hotel grounds were lovely.

Even though it's not many miles from airport, the roads and traffic made the trip a bit long for just a quick overnight stay. The final stretch of road to the hotel was extremely poor condition. Also, the booking.com listing indicated that king rooms had washer/dryer, which was the primary reason we booked the hotel (we were on 14 day trip and being able to wash clothes mid-trip would have been ideal). So was disappointing to learn upon arrival that no rooms had washer/dryer.

Dog friendly, kind and accommodating staff and beautiful rooms with plenty of space to entertain and enjoy the day/evening. The grounds are well kept and fun to watch a polo match if one is happening. Food was delicious for dinner and breakfast.

It was a bit challenging to find the exact location, so more signage would be helpful.

Very well appointed and beautiful grounds. Ideal for a short lay over for 1 night. The surrounds made it relaxing and the staff were very attentive.

The property was meant to be close to airport which it is by how the crow flys but takes longer due to the location.
