This hotel is lovely, charming and elegant - we had one night stop over in Ecuador & didn’t want to go into the city, this was a great compromise of staying close to the airport (only 20 mins away) but feeling like you were getting away from it all. Set in lovely grounds with roaming llamas and a swimming pool (we didn’t use this as the air temp was too cold but the pool was heated!). Good well equipped gym. Rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, comfy/firm bed and lovely bathroom (great shower) We had dinner in the restaurant - which was good. Breakfast was great and the free shuttle to & from the airport was a lovely added bonus! Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay close to the airport

The staff were professional and anticipated our needs, the grounds are beautiful and the llamas added a special touch. We ate twice at the restaurant and the food was delicious. We had to leave to catch a flight at 6 am and without requesting the front office provided us a wonderful sack breakfast. We appreciated all their special touches! We will definitely come back and stay at this property again!

The fire in the dining area needs to be started before guest arrive for dinner. It added ambiance but also warmth. Both times we ate there this did not happen until closer to 7:20 - Dinner starts at 6:30. For us and other guests, a later dinner was not an option as we had a full and busy day and wanted to retire earlier. I also understand that this "summer" had been rainier and colder than usual.

Lovely service, easy transport (airport shuttle), sweet rooms and amazing surroundings. Rooms and Breakfast were just as expected, not spectacular - but absolutely fine, especially for a one night stay. We had a wonderful time, with Alpakas, Horses and all sorts of animals "showing up in the morning" in the garden. Something we enjoyed and the Survice was great, too!

We had a day between flights and didn't want to go into the city with the kids, but rather wanted to stay near the airport, this was the perfect place for us. The rooms were comfortable and there's a restaurant on site which serves tasty (if a little bit expensive) food, but the main attraction was the beautiful gardens and pool, the kids loved it: we played in the pool (I had a sauna), and the kids went to playground, hung out with the llamas, went on a treasure hunt and to the petting zool. It was like mini holiday! We'll definitely be back!

Lots to do at the properly, especially for a one night stay, if you are catching a flight the next day. Secure compound and the food was nice (albeit slightly expensive).

There wasn’t much around the properly (not a problem for a short stay). The free airport shuttles don’t run every hour which means we had to take a taxi. We also tried to book a stay for our return flights however we found the same rooms cheaper online than booking directly with the hotel. The hotel was unwilling to watch the offer we found online and we ended up booking somewhere else.

It was about a 20 minute ride to the airport. I should note the shuttle only goes once an hour, so you may want to book a cab if the timing doesn't work for you. It's a beautiful property, with nice amenities (steam room, hot tub, sauna, gym). The restaurant is good, though a bit pricey for Quito.

There was a bit of noise from the planes, since you're near the airport. They provide earplugs, which I thought was a nice touch. If you want to be near the airport though, that's always going to be an issue.

The Airport transfer was really easy. The check in was easy and efficient. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable. The room had a view of the grounds which was really nice. It was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices. The grounds were lovely, and we really enjoyed the lamas wandering around. We had a few special requests during our stay and George in particular went above and beyond to help us with these. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything. A perfect stay. We stayed 3 separate nights. At beginning of trip, midway and at end. Shuttle was the best. The staff were amazing. Especially the waitress Marcia , she went above and beyond. Wonderful person. Also Efrain, was always there for the luggage and the shuttle. The front staff helped store some school supplies we were delivering in Ecuador plus helped me dry some wet clothes. Thank you Jorge, James, Erik and Leonardo and anyone else I missed. You are wonderful. Loved the animals too.

We liked everything.

Hotel is on a beautiful property, great view of the mountains and beautiful sounds of birds. Our kids enjoyed the playground and zip line, and following the ducks around. The bedroom was comfortable with one of the best showers I’ve ever taken. They had black-out curtains so it stayed nice and dark until we were ready to get up.

It was a little complicated getting the taxi from the airport to the hotel as instructions about how to do this were not clear.

The best thing about this hotel is its facilities, it is a beautiful large historic hacienda with large, well-kept gardens, it is very nice to walk through its gardens, observe birds and trees. The included breakfast is wonderful, very wide variety and everything is delicious. We had dinner at their restaurant and the food was delicious but a little expensive. The room is very comfortable. They offer shuttle service to the airport every hour, except 8am.

At the reception they charged me a higher price than booking.com allowed me to book, the person in charge told me that he didn't know why the website had allowed me to book at that price, that it must be a mistake. In the end, they charged me an intermediate price, between the rate I booked with and "the correct one." Even though I didn't like this, I think the hotel is worth it. It would be helpful if you could verify what rates booking.com allows, so that there are no misunderstandings.
