Veronica, the manager of the apartments was very helpful and accommodating. She showed an interest in what I was doing for the day and offered ideas to enhance the experience The breakfast provided was great and catered to the individual needs which was a nice touch It was a nice touch by the hotel to refund the extra money I paid for a late checkout but didn't require it in the end due to the airline changing my schedule The apartment I stayed in was very roomy, had good cooking facilities, plenty of storage space, strong WiFI with a comfortable bed The apartment complex and individual apartment was very secure The location of the apartment was near where there are a lot of restaurants and small bars

I would have liked the shower to be hotter but I do like a very hot shower and this temperature might be ample for most people

Nice well kept historical building, very nice spacious rooms. Also the rooms have a historical feel but in a nice way. Personnel is super friendly and willing to help. They were super flexible with check in and check out. Breakfast is nice. Location is great few blocks from buzzling plaza Foch but still in a quiet street full of trees. Have been here a couple of times and in meantime it has become my fixed hotel when I travel for business or pleasure to Quito. Highly recommended and good value for money.

Liked the friendliness of the staff. And, the recommendation for dinner at a nearby restaurant was great! Walking distant to the market, and cute outdoor balcony!

Could have been a few more options for breakfast. I thought I was getting an airport transfer when booking two nights, but this only applied to booking through 'booking.com' --It would have been helpful to have a pitcher of filtered water in the room (we had to got downstairs quite often to refill bottles).

Hotel Antinea is “vaux le voyage” (worth the trip). This gorgeous hotel is on a stunning little street lined with Sycamore trees. It is a complex of traditional buildings very well designed and integrated. The rooms and garden terraces and courtyards are lovely and comfortable. The breakfast is unique in all Ecuador as it includes excellent croissant beurre (fait maison). The dining spaces are so attractive and filled with interesting art. The service is very, very attentive.

This is the fourth time I've stayed at Antinea, and I will stay again. This is a charming little hotel in a central, but quiet Mariscal location. Each room is different and charming. The suites are a good value. The bed liens are comfortable and warm. I appreciate the attentiveness of the staff including those who work late at night. The breakfast is tasty, with better than normal bread, coffee refills, eggs and fruit. Highly recommend for both families and solo women.

This is a great place to stay!

Very good location, within walking distances to restaurants and supermarkets. The streets are well lit. The place itself exceeding my expectations, it's an apartel rather than the usual hotel room. It has separate kitchenette, equipped with cooking implements and table wares; a seating room with a dining table; and an upstairs loft for a bedroom. There's also a smaller separate bedroom by the entrance door. The bed is comfy, towels well supplied. Several WiFi connections. Very clean. Reception is 24/7, gate is secure. Several public seating areas including patios and a 2nd floor courtyard. Breakfast is ample. The staff are very cordial and helpful.

This is a superior small boutique hotel. The family room was magnificent, on different levels and with period touches. Breakfast was great and varied. The transfer to the airport in the very early morning was reliable and fast. The staff were responsive. Its on a 'European' street with solid security.

Its best not to go looking for a restaurant after dark on foot. Many were not open at this time and the area around the main square close by does not feel safe at this time. Taxis to and from places makes the location work.

Another excellent stay here. The staff are amazing. We stayed here again after going to Cuyabeno for 3 nights to stay at Green Forest Eco Lodge (the hotel has a tour desk as well which can assist with this). The Hotel stored our bags and had them in our room already when we arrived late. The breakfast is excellent and the accommodation is very cosy.

This is our second stay at Hotel Antinea and it did not disappoint. The rooms are unique and beautifully styled in French provincial. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet with extra blankets for the cool weather. Veronica goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing. Her English is perfect for us gringos. She prepares a tasty wholesome breakfast to get you started for the day. The location is close to plaza foch with many restaurants and food outlets close by. The area is quiet compared to the chaos of the old town. Veonica organized our airport transfers which were reliable. We look forward to our third visit and highly recommend Hotel Antinea to other travellers.

Nothing all perfect

We had the junior suite and were given option of which to stay in. Lovely decor and huge space to stay in with separate part of room for bathroom and dressing area. Even put our flowers in a valse without us needing to ask. We saw hummingbirds in the tree next to the window. The manager was extremely helpful. Lovely breakfast. Excellent value for money and good location.

Being picky but pillows too big for myself, beds comfy but pillows made it not a good sleep. Recommend having some smaller pillow options and then would be perfect!
