From the moment we arrived, it was a truly wonderful experience. Every staff member — from the security guards to the laundry team — was welcoming, well-trained, and exceptionally well-mannered. Their professionalism and warmth really stood out. Some individuals truly made our stay extra special. Abhishekh at the restaurant offered top-notch customer service — always polite, attentive, and professional. Subhash from laundry was incredibly helpful and courteous. It's people like them who elevate the experience from good to unforgettable. What touched me deeply was seeing how the Taj empowers and includes individuals with hearing and speaking disabilities. Watching them confidently represent the brand with grace and dedication was genuinely inspiring. It speaks volumes about the values the Taj holds. Even small gestures, like the complimentary soaking water after a long day, made a huge difference. The food felt like home — comforting and full of warmth. Everything at Taj in terms of property and facility was great. But most important was the team at Taj which made me feel so welcomed. One who really stood out for me was Mr Anand, life guard at the pool area. Being a localite, Mr Anand really guided me about the city, the religious temples, and the places of interest including famous street food joints and restaurants. Mr Anand shared his knowledge and told me about the background story about the city and its religious places of worship. He went above and beyond his duties to ensure that I was able to fulfill my purpose of visit to the holy city of Kashi. The other two members of the team who ensured my stay was relaxing were Mr Asif (MOD) and Mr Jha (Travel desk). One can experience that all of the members mentioned above, lived and carried the culture of Tata's hospitality from their heart. I was very impressed. Given a chance, I would definitely like to stay at Taj for a longer duration and enjoy the experience again.

We did not like the exterior finish of the hotel building as it doesn’t match standards of Taj. Breakfast service was not structured properly.Staff kept taking orders from all tables and we had to wait and remind them. Improvement is needed in dosa chatni as the coconut used was tinned which was not good.The spread and food quality Kulhad masala tea were all good. Staff should focus on refills of food item and table cutlery and set up a system for prompt order delivery

The hotel was in the heart of the city and very handy to visit the Ganges for sunrise and the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony as well as Sarnath . The service was exceptional and the staff extremely friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and every detail was taken care of as we have come to expect from the Taj brand. The food is predominantly Indian, some of which we find too spicy. The restaurant staff went out of their way to ensure we were well fed, often providing food which was not on the menu. Special thanks to Muscan, Ashish, Nikita and Punam. They presented us with cakes inscribed "sorry to see you going" on our departure. A memorable visit. Thank you to all the staff.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Taj Varanasi, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Special mention to Ashish and Nikita, who were incredible throughout our stay. Their service was impeccable and always delivered with a warm smile. The breakfast spread was fantastic, and Ashish ensured we had everything we needed. He even went out of his way to bring us a package as we were checking out—such thoughtfulness is rare and truly appreciated. The attention to detail, comfort, and care made our stay extraordinary. I highly recommend Taj Varanasi to anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming experience. Kudos to the team for setting such high standards of hospitality!

The entire hotel team was professional, welcoming, friendly and eager to make our stay enjoyable. They are great representatives of the Taj brand. The property is nice and the staff are very sweet. Especially the staff on the 2nd floor.. they really took care of us.. special mention to Rambilash, and Kamlesh on the 2nd floor. Everyone else was also amazing.. just did not get a chance to get their names.. They even set up a hot water salt foot soak for us to end the night blissfully. Everything was top notch. The staff was courteous. The breakfast was lavish. The cleanliness was super. The rooms were cleaned twice a day.

1. The iron in the room was tied to the stool and it caused a lot of inconvenience to lift it and arrange it near the socket. However I did take out once but after room cleaning it was arranged back in the almirah and then we did not bother to do the same exercise again 2. The kettle area is too enclosed ,could be in a better, open and accessible area.

Very nice property... location is great !! Very cooperative staff, good food and nice service!!! top notch hospitality..... Taj never disappoints. As we checked in late night We requested for late check out.. which they provided, Our return flight was very late around midnight, after site seeing they provided room for 2 hrs again for getting freshen up before airport departure. This helped me to get some rest as I was unwell, after knowing this served us coffee too, which helped me to feel better!!! So caring and helpful staff... especially We would like to thank Mr Asif, Jayant and Owais ... and chef Nishant for delicious and clean food !!! stay was wonderful and all staff including house keeping was cooperative. They made our 25 anniversary memorable

The hotel is nice, beds are especially good. We stayed only one night, coming direclty from the airport, it is a nice access to the hotel. The next day we went further into the city, so this hotel was the most convenient for one night. We especially liked the comfortable and clean beds. Breakfast and dinner was nice too. Fresh flowers in the lobby. The lady in the reception helped us with transport and moving to another hotel the next day, she was very helpful. 2 things though: I asked for morning yoga and they said they don't have it. Also, for the morning coffee they only have a cow milk, not any other option like soya or almond milk.

coffee without milk as I can't have cow milk. no yoga classes in the morning. they send me an email later with apology, saying they do have yoga classes at 7am.
