This is a very good hotel that someone stuck a lot of $$ into making that way. Fairly comfortable beds and a decent shower. Super nice pool area. Good-sized room and a TV equipped with streaming services. A/C seemed reliable.

WiFi was frustratingly slow. We never managed to maintain a comfortable temperature with the A/C. No blankets were in the room, though we didn't ask for them, so I assume they exist. Had to ask for towels. Water only got warm, not hot. The surrounding area was a bit sketchy in my view, and I live in Ecuador. That said, I never felt unsafe walking around.

The hotel staff was very friendly and tried to help organising a tour for me. The room had an airconditioning which was very helpful. The hotel is close to shops and the bus terminal, but around 30 min walk to the ferry.

I had a room with a window to the car park and that was quite noisy. I was also missing some space to put things down as there was no wardorbe in the room. Strangely, I couldn’t contact the hotel via the booking message, but only via email. This has nothing to do with the hotel - but I found it interesting that in Puntarenas people were not drinking tap water, but rather bottled water.

This is a nice, modern hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good shower. The breakfast was very good - a nice selection of fresh fruit, eggs, toast, gallo pinto, sausages etc. The pools were nice, with small areas for children to play in and a terrace area to sit and have cold drinks.

Just one suggestion - as our room looked inwards, it would be good to have a privacy screen on the window so that people walking past cannot look in (we had to keep the curtain drawn all the time and have the lights on). This area of Puntarenas isn't very salubrious but in the evening the reception staff ordered us a taxi to go to a restaurant at the ferry port and there was secure parking, so our car was safe.

The Hotel is well located, extremely clean with a great pool that my child enjoyed greatly. The restaurant was really good and tasteful. The staff is the best of the best I experienced while on our Costa Rica trip really helping us out even before check in. The nicest people in all of Costa Rica work at this hotel, hands down. Parking is a couple of doors down, but connects to the hotel via the back. I really liked that it was covered, car was always nice and fresh.

The hotel is an oasis and a gem in this town where there is nothing to do around except to se amazing sunsets at the beach. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly specially Ana who is in the restaurant area. The hotel is walking distance to el paseo de Los Turistas where you can get access to the beach. There you find street markets and food trucks.

Recent remodel, with up to date fixtures, hot water, and lighting options. Nice pool and patio area. Good food options in restaurant or served poolside. Just 3 blocks to the Cruise ship dock. Secure parking and great staff. The really work as a team to respond to guest desires. I will go back.

Note to management: There is no way to control lights from the bed. Only on the wall at the door. A reading light, or nightstand lamp was missed more than once. Lucky I travel with a headlamp!

Wish it was a little closer to the beach but it was close. Parking was very secure and the hotel itself was very clean. Breakfast was very good in the morning as well.

Pool was really full so wasn't able to enjoy it and the hot tub in our room needed to have the jets cleaned out. Wasn't able to enjoy that part but the rest of the stay and the bar/dinner staff was wonderful!

The hotel is correct, breakfast is terrible so don't even count on it. We stayed for one night and it was alright.

There was no hot water in the shower and the window of the bathroom was open and when I went out I realized there was a bed under the window, not a hallway, it was inside our room, so the bed was wet, fortunately no one was sleeping on that bed as it was an extra one. Breakfast cannot be called as such, it's really terrible.

I wasnt really sure what to expect but the hotel was great! The young man at the reception desk was a fantastic help, and thankfully for us non Spanish speakers he spoke excellent English. We had dinner in the restaurant and the waiter there was also very helpful, he gave me some ideas after asking what I liked which was great service. Beds were really comfy too.

Nothing, really liked the hotel

Beautiful clean & modern facility since remodel. Rooms were very nice. Staff was friendly & helpful. Bar made very good drinks, shakes, etc. We didn't eat in the restaurant except traditional Tico breakfast, which was good. We did see the fish tacos, which looked delicious.

My only suggestion as an older person once 60's is that the water temperature fir shower was on the lukewarm side, cool actually. Which is probably good for most coming in from the hot & humid outside, but took a bit of getting used too. I would turn up the water temp a modest 5 degrees should do it for us "mature" older clients. But, this was a minor inconvenience, I gave 5 stars because they deserve it.
