We stayed 2 nights at Unit #1 and had a great relaxing stay after a long drive from Corcovado. Unit #1 is the most private, and Laura was super welcoming with excellent communication. The space was sparkling clean, and the small kitchen was a plus. The sleeping space was ample, and the bathroom/shower, open to nature, was a real treat. The location is great, close to beaches and the national park. The only drawback is the noise from heavy trucks on Rt 1 when sitting outside, but luckily, they don't drive much at night, and the room was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling and staying in this part of Costa Rica.

We were in two minds about staying a night in Tarcoles, but I’m glad we did as there is plenty to see in the area. The suite is perfect for 1-2 nights, and certainly looked like the best option to stay in the area. We also saw plenty of wildlife from our room which is always a bonus. Laura was a very responsive host and even let us check-in earlier than what was originally planned.

- More of an advisory for other potential guests, but I had some issues completing the payment with my international credit card (UK mastercard) over booking dot com. We resolved the issue in the end by me paying in cash at the property. Though I would advise the host to never send out external links for a bank transfer as was attempted, as there are many scams on booking dot com that do just that. - There was some construction work being done at the property when we arrived which we weren’t told about in advance. We appreciated that they tried to keep noise to a minimum, but it might’ve been more of an issue if we stayed longer than 1 night.

The room was massive, clean and well appointed. Looked just like the photos but more spacious. Right off the highway so it was easy to reach after driving all day and after dark. Loved the view and all the amenities. You can stay for a very long time if there for work reasons.

Well appointed property and a spectacular view. We extended our stay by adding another night as soon as we checked in. Modern amenities with a private pool and well equipped kitchen, breathtaking sunsets, stargazing at night - it was great value for the money in every way.

It was strange that we had to find the cleaning staff to ask for more toilet paper and trash removal. There was no daily touch up cleaning even though the hotel description implied otherwise by stating that you could cancel it if you didn't want it. It would have been nice if the cleaning staff stopped by and asked if there was anything we needed when they were on the property.

Apartments are in a pretty remote area on a steep hill, so you can't walk anywhere, but that makes the view amazing.

Everything went well, Laura the manager was extremely helpful and supportive. The location and view of the place are just breathtaking. The private pool and the view from there is not tappable. There are not many places like this.

The service is excellent and you get whatever you need. But it would be more convenient and helpful for a customer if e.g. fresh towels would be supplied w/o request and just a daily cleaning serving would be provided. Not much to do, just change towels and clean the garbage.

The place is surrounded by nature! It’s is very calming, beautiful and charging. Each morning we were visited by an iguana on the terrace! The sunsets were stunning.

The place is a bit far away from good restaurants. But it is ideal if one needs to switch off from the daily grind.

The property is gorgeous with lots of creative touches. The private pools were the perfect temperature. Beautiful birds like toucans and parrots fly by your deck. The sunset view of the gulf was breathtaking. Wonderful restaurants near by. We tried Vista Mar and the blackened yellow fin tuna and ceviche was excellent!

There are some leaf cutter ants that walk along the deck sometimes, which is cool to see but just be careful not to step on them.

Great place to stop on the way down South and to visit Carara National Park and the Tarcoles River. The place is not far from the road so easy to get to & from local destinations. Large rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful views and you can see the scarlet macaws daily.

Although you do have your own pool, they are not very private from the other suites.
