A stunning hotel located on the cliffs of Jaco. Our room was stunning and everything was really clean. Check in was easy and the staff were exceptional. The food at the restaurant was really good but expensive, but I guess you are paying for the view really. The infinity pool is stunning, made even more magical by the macaws that flew past twice! A wonderful hotel and would’ve loved to have stayed longer

The resort is located on quite a lot of steep levels, but mostly accessible. There didn’t seem to be much parking available that we could see, but was fine for the one night we stayed.

• the views are stunning • the pool is beautiful • staff so friendly and spoke great English • lovely spacious comfy room • wildlife! Interesting birds and monkeys in the resort • private beach is worth a visit too • food was good

• breakfast not included, which made it much worse value for money and was an unexpected cost • the food service in the restaurant is consistently slow - at one breakfast we did need to ask for our juice three times, and one dinner we had to wait 10 mins for our bottle of wine. The view is great so it’s not a hardship but it did bring the overall score down. The pool bar was fast though

Absolutely stunning location, and lovely rooms, with friendly staff. The outlook from the infinity pool is second to none, and from our balcony we saw a stunning range of birdlife.

We booked and prepaid a deluxe room with sea view, but on arrival were allocated a small dark room with tiny balcony facing the opposite side of the hotel room 32. After some discussion we were offered another room to match our requirements but it was an upgrade to a villa. Initially the hotel insisted that we should pay for this. I refused and they agreed to honour our booking.. Food is quite expensive and the beach (about 1 mile down the hill on a very rutted track) is very disappointing, unappealing for swimming. A kettle in the room would have been nice, we only had a filter coffee maker.

Villa Caletas is a very relaxing resort. We love staying here. The staff is magnificent - they are all so courteous and professional. It is so nice to see Adrian once again who always provides exceptional service!

Breakfast was wonderful and we did several days of it and quality and service was perfect. We skipped dinners as we had appetizers one evening and did not care for them. Not saying that the dinners are not good, but based on the apps we tried we decided to forego on dinner.

A real perl in the middle of the jungle on the Pacific ocean coast. The hotel and the restaurant are member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs. Owner and the general manager are drom France. They know haw real luxuary works and the crew are ready to fulfill this! Tucans, white face monkies, scarlet macaws are in the price 😁

it was very remote on top of a mountain. the property is so beautiful! I was amazed by the details and buildings. private beach was so relaxing and PRIVATE!!!The staff is so amazing and helpful; compliments to them! was so relaxing and the food is delicious! 100% satisfied!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!! the monkeys, toucans, wild life right at your room and property. so fancy!!!

Views and concept is beautiful

Our room. Never ever accept room number 6. It is right at the entrance of a building, right off the parking lot so you hear EVERYTHING. People coming and going and the cars listers Lu feel on top of you, since the parking lot is “on top” of the small patio The beds…comfortable but extremely small for a 6’2 person like myself.

It was a quiet place. I love the view and nature around the room and restaurant. Bed was comfortable. I love to have a yacuzzi in the terrace of our room.

I didn’t like to be in a pink room (23). Modern colors or light colors are better. The area around the beach needs to be updated. It looks like an abandoned place.

It wasn’t as clean as what we expected. We have also given different rates for breakfast which was not included.

I love the privacy of the room, the jacuzzi, the view, and every single detail in the room, it's obvious to me that great attention has been put to the architectural design of the hotel and particularly the junior suite in which we stayed. The beach was a nice surprise, didn't have idea there was access to a private beach.

I wish I could stay longer.
