Staff was very friendly and helped us book tours and excursions. Food in the restaurant was very fresh and the cocktails were great. View from the pool and restaurant was perfect, open bay with islands in the distance.

The hotel is very remote, guests need a car to have a comfortable stay here. Thankfully the staff was very good about helping us book transport everywhere, so it wasn't the biggest issue.

The views were absolutely incredible, the food delicious, the service outstanding, and the rooms sparkling clean and very comfortable. Parking was easy, and everyone was very accommodating. We loved the sweet cats on the property! We will absolutely return if given the opportunity.

There is a cat who is in need of veterinary care. They try to tell people he is old (10, which isn't old for us,) but it is clear he simply needs better care. I realize it may be cultural, but it was very sad. We can tell they care about their cats, however.

I was sitting in the pool bed and got bitten by some insects in my buttocks.. So was my sister, As a suggestion, you may clean the fabric pool bed with lysol or some cleaner in a daily basis.

The hotel has a beautiful view of the bay. Nice pool, but the hotel is a bit tired and needs some renovation. The staff was great. You will have to get to the hotel on broken roads. Good restaurant, but the menu is not very big, the price level is like in the USA. Overall, I would recommend visiting it for a couple of days. There is no beach, don't be fooled by the photos. Of course, there is one, but it is not a beach, but a dirty, shitty lagoon with a lot of garbage, you can't swim there. Monkeys live in the trees near the reception and in the trees in front of the room. On the first day, we found a live scorpion in the room, be careful.

Not only was the view superb, and the rooms and food excellent, but the quality of care that your staff offered us was outstanding. We had difficulties with airline travel to Costa Rica and thus had to change our transport plans several times, and your staff were so helpful, professional, and flexible with our requests. As your hotel guests, we truly felt cared for. Moreover, we appreciated being greeted by such friendly smiles from breakfast through dinner each day. Our TV channels didn't work, but with such a beautiful view and swimming pool, we didn't even notice it until the last day!

We loved the property. The location, the pool and the views. Staff were friendly and made us welcome Very clean and spacious room. Lovely breakfast. Perfect! And loved the cats and the kind way they were looked after at the property

Continuous music played. Sometimes it’s just nice to be peaceful , read and appreciate the beauty in a quiet atmosphere. These days people can listen to their own music if they choose but to have the same music played on a loop was a bit much! It was quite loud at times as well but they did turn it down when requested

The view, the grounds, and the pool were exceptional. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Monkeys and birds were all over the place.

There are no luggage trolleys to get the luggage to your rooms. The first night we arrived, we discovered that the air conditioning didn't really work . We had a horrible, hot and sleepless night. We were moved to another room the next day, but no compensation of any sort was offered. There seemed to be a bit of "magic"lacking. Also, our balcony wasn't really a balcony at all - but a glass enclosed room with sliding windows which was disappointing

This hotel is a real gem. We stayed for just one night to enjoy the bioluminescence kayaking with Bahia Rica Tours and it was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and kind and we received a warm welcome and tour of the property. The infinity pool had lovely views of Islas Tortugas where we spent a fun day snorkeling and swimming and made friends with other hotel guests. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely deck to sit outside and enjoy the stunning views. The restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed a hearty and full Costa Rican style breakfast buffet. This is a perfect place to stay after or before taking the ferry to/from Paquera/Puntarenas and is close enough to town for more restaurant options. We highly recommend this wonderful EcoBoutique.

Beautiful views, very friendly staff and nice breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were staying here for our honeymoon and they decorated our room for us and gave us a free cocktail which we thought was so sweet! The pool and cabanas were so relaxing. Our bedroom had an incredible view of the beach, we absolutely loved the views. This property is only 5 minutes drive from a beautiful beach with hardly any people on it. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind!

We really wished the bed was more comfortable, would recommend the hotel put in a different mattress or add a foamy! The lighting in the room was very dim at night. The breakfast was a bit simpler compared to other hotels (basic continental breakfast, but still good) and food/cocktails were more expensive compared to other places
