Very attentive, happy & helpful staff throughout the whole hotel but the reception staff went above & beyond to help us with a critical passport situation. Lovey, clean rooms with amazing views. Good food served in the restaurant & lovely breakfast with lots of choice. A little outside Shimla but easy to get taxis. Nice chill out area with snooker table on the top floor.

Wet room can make the floor slippy - I would recommend getting a room with a shower cubicle. We visited in low season so the rooftop restaurant/bar wasn’t open but the main restaurant is more than adequate.

It was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The property is stunning—perched on a hillside with panoramic views of Shimla. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and spotless, with all the modern comforts you'd expect from a luxury resort. I especially loved waking up to the misty mountain views right from my balcony. The food was another highlight. The buffet had an excellent spread, and the à la carte options were just as impressive. The chefs clearly put a lot of thought into the menu, and the service in the restaurant was top notch. Overall, WelcomHeritage Elysium is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and nature. Kids club or recreation room is bit neglected, toys are broken or missing, billiard table has only one working queue and colour balls missing, carrom board broken etc Last thing, 1-2 restaurant staff lacked courtesy and had a biased approach towards Indian customers and more inclined to service foreign diaspora Road to property is a steep incline from highway and new driver shouldn’t try on their own

Breakfast was exceptional with different British and Indian options as well as omelette made To order. The staff was phenomenal and on top of everything. The spa is a must and if I had more time I probably would have spent a whole day there.

I had accidentally left my passport at the home I was staying in that was 8 hr drive away. The hotel staff were adamant with checking in with a passport unless you were an Indian national. Thankfully had backup photo of my passport so check in was smooth otherwise.

I found this place after a long search wanting something close to the Mall and for a good price. It's about 10 mins by car from the Mall, very close to the bus station and down a side road. We had a room on 4th floor with glorious views across the valley, the rooms are not huge but fine for us and our large bags, they have everything that you need and are spotless, new and very comfortable. We appreciated the fruit and sweets served in an evening. Without exception the staff are wonderful, so cheerful and friendly and do make a real difference to the experience. My thanks to everyone, the people we met and also those behind the scenes that add to the experience. And the food, a real highlight and absolutely superb, there isn't restaurants within walking distance but you don't need them. Do try the Thali, oh my goodness this was amazingly good. One comment would be to turn the lighting down in the restaurant, it is very bright. If you could make better use of the outside terrace or roof for drinks or food then that would be great, the views are so lovely its a shame to not make more of them. Thanks to everyone for an awesome stay, if anyone has any questions about the hotel then I would be happy to help. We loved Shimla and our stay at Elysium really did add to our enjoyment.

The room which had a view of the valley was beautiful. Each day the staff left sweets in our room. The attention to detail was great, for example, we got our laundry back the same day. The staff packed breakfast for us. A cup of tea came with snacks. I loved seeing the monkeys.

It was a bit far from the main sites, but given how lovely the hotel was, this was a minor issue. The front desk staff should not push staff to write reviews and mention staff by name, it’s a bit of pressure!

The whole experience was excellent from the check in to the food at breakfast. The staff were very helpful to me to arrange trips and even a game of golf in the mountains. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Shimla to stay.

Everything about the property is great! The helpful and super professional staff, ambience, facilities rooms. I would like to mention some special people who made our stay memorable. Mr Vishal, Mr Manish at Front desk had all smiles for us at the arrival and ofcrse after our day end. Mr Vijay n restaurant team were so helpful and quick in all our requests. The housekeeping lady Ms . Aswani was so sweet wth my child. I would thank all the wonderful staff for such memorable stay ! All the best and keep up the excellent job! Cheers

Swimming pool is missing!

We got an upgrade when requested. Views are. Magnificent and staff is very polite especially the lady from hospitality who delivers free sweets for tea every evening. We loved the Himachal Thali and Maggi from in room dining.

At least 2 bottles of mineral water should have been complimentary. Standard room was not spacious enough so when requested we got a free upgrade to a spacious room. Displayed hot and cold breakfast options are pretty average but when you request the chef they make fresh breakfast so no point of buffet.

Excellent food and the staff were very helpful ( particularly Anil) in explaining the buffet food options. This encouraged us to try more of the Indian food. The hotel had fantastic views and was located out of the busy town centre.
