We loved the tranquility and natural beauty this beautiful hotel offered us. The warm welcome and friendliness of the team was really a stand out feature. We felt like we got to know Philippine life at this hotel far more than anywhere else we stayed . We don’t want it to change ! Thankyou to Terri and Joy and Harold and your family for ensuring our stay with you was exceptional. A further highlight was the boat trip from the steps .. ( ask the hotel to organize ) we were fortunate to see turtles swimming and resting.. the good bit? No other tourists… just us … the snorkeling amongst the coves is great as is just idling watching local families come to their beach to collect and eat sea urchins… … our room was sublime .. basic, rustic and our own terrace overlooking the ocean ………
The track to the main road is very bumpy … ok If you hire a scooter

Loved the overall vibe, ambiance and service. Staff are kind and accommodating. I'm impressed with the high investment in the property relative to general accommodation standards on the island. Excellent, lovely, intimate place. Nature rules a few things here which in my view makes this resort experience even more genuine.
Some might say the absence of a phone and TV are negatives. I found it a positive. The small 'beach' comes and goes with the tide, normal, and there is some tricky stepping at times, footwear helps, but it doesn't make the swims in the clear water any less wonderful.

Our whole family loved Casa Amihan. It's quiet and peaceful - perfect for both families and couples. There is a small but lovely beach that can be accessed directly from the hotel. The staff are so helpful and the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. We also booked a private snorkelling tour through reception, which was great. Captain Joey found some great snorkel spots and Dennis was amazing with looking after our 5 year old so she could snorkel too. All in all, it was a perfect stay and we wish we could have stayed longer!
I loved everything - but for those without a car, bear in mind that it's not really walking distance to any other restaurants etc - but the Casa Amihan restaurant is the best on the island anyway!

The people and the service were amazing, so kind and always helping out when we had questions. The food in the restaurant was great, big portions and a lot to choose from (also for vegetarians). The room was beautiful, very spacious and we had the best sleep throughout our entire time at the Philippines - perfectly quiet and very comfortable beds. The rooms were cleaned each day. The hotel area itself is very nicely set up and maintained - it's like a little oasis :) We also booked a tour via the hotel (which was very touristic, but at least the chocolate hills are a must-see!) and appreciated the option to have the laundry done via the hotel. The location is quite far away from the airport/ Panglao/activities, but that also comes with more tranquility and less tourists, exactly what we wanted. The sea can be accessed directly from the hotel, but there's no beach to relax at. There are multiple sunbeds and a pool at the hotel though. We once also walked to the White Beach closeby, didn't stay there though, as it's rather dirty and there are sand flies everywhere. If you want a calm and relaxing stay and don't care about the remote location, Casa Amihan is the best choice in Anda!

From the moment we set our foot in casa amihan we felt like we were on holiday for real. this place is simply amazing. The staff is so friendly and the food is good. Especially the local dishes! The whole place is so calm and quiet and simply beautiful. I can’t describe enough how much we loved this place. This is the best place we have stayed at as a family with young kids in Philippines during our three weeks holiday.
My only disappointment as a Snorkel enthusiast is that the reef directly outside the beach in front of the hotel is actually not much to see.one day we took a boat out and we had a great time with some nice guides.

Casa Amihan is such a lovely place! The atmosphere is so tranquil, the scenery so idyllic - it's perfect for relaxation. The staff was by far the nicest we had met during our many stops throughout the visayas. Absolutely the best! And the food was fantastic! They even had some vegetarian options (albeit limited), which is a tough find in the Philippines. It's a little far from the main atteactions in Bohol, but there is still some things to see in the area with the added bonus of no crowds!

The staff were really wonderful, did everything necessary to make us happy, including helping us celebrate our daughter's birthday! Rooms were kept meticulously clean. Towels and bedding were clean and comfortable. Good strong air conditioning. Excellent restaurant. Lovely place for families, Kids can play safely and there is lots for them to do.
Restaurant was quite accommodating but a couple more vegetarian options would have been nice.

Staff were very helpful the moment we arrived. Friendly and respectful staff. Location is superb as it was right next to the beach. Pool is nicely maintained. The food and service in their restaurant is exemplary. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Our family really loved it there. Our young children enjoyed the place. The resort is well managed. We love the beaches and cliffs in Anda. It is lovely to see locals hunt for their food at low tide.
Nothing.

We chose this resort specifically for the more rural location, away from the mass tourism to seek tranquility. Our expectations have been exceeded overall :) The staff was very helpful and friendly, We were able to walk along the beautiful natural private beach - Big surprise to us and how great it was to walk along the beaches and rocks there! You can swim and snorkel there, too. If you're lucky you'll see some cool wildlife, too (e.g. big lizards...) The food was incredibly delicious and professionally cooked and kept the homey Filipino feeling and taste, which we deeply enjoyed! My favourite drink was the Mangorita ;) We had a fantastic time here and would definitely recommend this to other couples or other guests who seek a quiet place and are OK with being far away from everything. For those who are wondering how we traveled on the island. We rented a car and were therefore quite independent. Please note: I wouldn't recommend renting a car generally in the Philippines if you are not acquainted with the road and traffic culture as well as some challenging road infrastructure.
The steep transportation costs of the resort or generally in that East area of the island... For Filipino standards, it is far from the airport but the costs were quite high which led us to the conclusion to rent a car instead. Other than that, nothing else except the unlucky weather but that can happen. We still had a splendid time at the resort and did all the activities we wanted to do despite some rain here and then (snorkeling, beach time, pool time, massage, excursions etc.) Nota bene: We were there at the end of January.

The staff at Casa Amihan was AMAZING! They were so friendly and helpful and each day helped organize tricycles for us so that we could go on excursions or into town. I also really enjoyed the pool and sunset view from the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious. And the dive shop at the hotel just down the beach was INCREDIBLE. Definitely check out Anda Scuba Diving if you are staying here. There were awesome dive sites just off the beach.
The location of the hotel is fairly isolated, so we always needed to take a tricycle into town if we wanted to eat somewhere else. I prefer staying in areas that have easier access to shops and restaurants, but there's not a lot of activity in Anda so it's understandable that the hotel was secluded, but a tricycle ride was only about 10mins into town. Also, the beds were quite hard.
