Both my friend and I loved everything during our stay at Blue Star Resort, but I want to highlight two things. First, the facilities were clean, modern, and gave that sweet vacationy feel that lets you feel relaxed. Second, the staff. This was honestly the best part. The people who work there are so caring and kind and obviously take pride in their work. My friend and I did the 15 dive package they offer, with a couple fun dives (e.g. night dive). The divemasters were so accomodating, and obviously work really hard. They were also just fun and easy to chat with - not to mention great at what they do. We came in with a list of tons of marine animals we wanted to see, and we were constantly checking off things on our list (while adding things we didn't even know we wanted to see, that they found for us). If you are going to the Philippines, I cannot recommend Blue Star Dive enough. My friend and I are already planning our next trip back to this exact spot, it was that good. 10/10.

This is a perfect get away for relaxing and diving. Totally worth every penny and every minute. Affordable luxury with a great and professional dive team!!! We also rented a scooter for a day and went to explore the rice terraces, Alicia Park, nearby village and some local beaches. Definitely Worth the drive from/ to the airport. (Resort provides shuttle) Excellent massage on the spot. Rakel was just perfect. She did the best deep tissue massage I had in Philippines within our 30 day trip. Restaurant food is good! Stuff is very friendly. Rooms are basic , very clean with comfortable beds. Quite a bit of choice of different TV channels. WI FI is weak in rooms, like most of Philippines.

Overall the food was good, but our first meal for Valentine's dinner was underwhelming. The Prawn dish had one large prawn and one very small one. Not enough to be considered a main. Everything was underseasoned. They have a seafood pasta carbonara, the preparation is with evaporated milk so it had an offputting sweet taste.

Food, service and the view from our room. We ate different main dishes and breakfast. Everything cheap and very delicious. Even wishes were accepted. The drivers for the trip and transport were really friendly as well. We had a great time.

The access to the reef is not that easy and the hotel is quite far away from the next town or any restaurant. But with renting a tuctuc, it was possible to get there.

Blue Star is the perfect place to stay in Anda, if you want to relax, have good food, like it quiet also with pool and even more if you want to snorkel with turtles… small resort owned beach with great snorkeling and diving possibilities 😊👍🏼 the staff was very welcoming and friendly, the ocean view from the bungalow balcony was great! I really have nothing to complain ☺️ if you have a scooter or rental car it’s only a short drive to Anda village and to many beautiful places around!

Nice personal. Breakfest very nice, you can choice from wide assortment (beside american, continental, omolette you can choice from 5 filippino breakfests). Dinners very nice - perfect ship, perfect spicy beef soup, perfect pad thai. Perfect pizza on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Amazing resort with nice corral reef. Nice place for trips to the surroundings. Ressort arranged scooters for us. They are very helpfull and willing. You should be carefull when you entering the sea because of near corals.

What a fantastic stay at the Blue Star Dive Resort. The room was superb with all you would expect in this range of room. The bed was so comfortable. The food was all prepared on site and was awesome and the staff were so kind and courteous. The icing on the cake was the diving experience. RG our Dive Master and his boat team were excellent. They have everything organised to perfection and the dive sites in Anda are so enjoyable especially the walls. Definitely recommend this place!

beautiful resort, on the cliff overlooking the ocean. T biggest bed I’ve ever seen, so comfortable, comfortable pillows. Pizzas are great on pizza night. professional helpful dive staff, great diving experience. organised transport to and from resort. Can snorkel right in front on house reef. Amazing sunset from balcony.

Single use plastic water bottles, 2 per room each day, lovely to get fresh water but they need to look at alternatives to plastic bottles. s Steps down to water very slippery.

The property is very well tended. Closeness to the sea causes problems with rust that are very hard to battle but the resort management is quite successful in this regard. A decent sized swimming pool and jacuzzi are spotless and very warm (approx. 34 degrees C). Many asian glossy starlets and even orioles with bright yellow feathers are greeting in the morning. The resort and dive staff are always friendly, helpful and accommodating in every aspect. We have been around the Philippines in the last years but we never experienced proper red wine glasses in any of the resorts. Blue Star had them, nice ones even. The dishes were freshly cooked and further requests for specialities such as fresh fish, more garlic or prawns willingly complied with. Every Wednesday they prepare in a wood oven delicious fresh pizzas. Excellent experience! There are plenty dive sites covering reef drop offs, sand flats, channels and expansive soft coral dominated reef flats, with abundant fish and invertebrate live. 3 species of turtles are very common and seen often while diving or snorkeling. Rare blue, green and red anemones and their symbiotic clown fish can be found by the exploding eye. There is a huge resident Barakuda of about 5-6 ft length. One day we even observed from the boat a pod of pilot whales with calves hunting squid and surfacing close to the boat. Beautiful sight.

Just a suggestion: it would be nice to have moskito screens at the sliding doors to the balcony and the bathroom. That way the sea breeze could be enjoyed without the insects entering the bungalow.

We stay for 3 nights, arrival was good give us welcome drinks all staff are friendly and welcoming on our first night it was just us staying and on the 2nd day some rooms are occupied. We were awake in 3am because of some guest drunk and swimming in the pool .But the place was really good restaurant has good food.
