The resort is situated in its own beautifully landscaped gardens and is beachfront. Its a really nice coral sand beach and its possible to walk the 2km or so along the beach into the main Anda Town. The resort is immaculately kept and spotlessly clean, rooms are big with large ensuite bathrooms. The restaurant has a wide range of choices, including Thai food and an extensive wine list. The owner Peter, and his staff could not have been more helpful, they put themselves out to help us. The resort has been established for a number of years, but is new to Booking.com, to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of tourist resorts I can definitely recommend this hotel, we had a fabulous time here.

Only, one negative, the access to the hotel from the main road is down a dirt road, this is a bit bumpy, as we were there at the end of the rainy season it was also a bit muddy. This was not really an issue for us, but it might be for some people. A great

The gardens are exquisite and the rooms have a lovely view. Both sunrise and sunset are great. If you enjoy diving or snorkeling you can paddle out 200m on a kayak yourself and see many sea turtles (They are literally everywhere).

The only downside was the sea. The beach is lovely but the sea is just below knee level for about 50m (and more at low tide). Nothing the hotel can do about it but you need to venture out a little to enjoy a swim. We found it nicer to swim further up the coast to the right of the hotel if you’re facing the sea so this is also an option.

This hotel was a bit more expensive than where we usually stay, but not having taken a real vacation since before COVID we thought we'd splurge a bit. Thankfully we weren't disappointed, the location, service, and facilities were all first rate and we didn't have anything to complain about for the entire stay. Things we look at reviews for are things like noise (it was very quiet, even when all the rooms were booked), the comfort of the beds (we both have hip issues that are aggravated by beds that are too hard or too soft, but these were perfect), and convenience to town (you can walk to town in half an hour or get a three wheeler for 100 php per-person, the ride just takes about 10 minutes, though you have to plan ahead as they need to call one for you before you can leave).

The accommodation was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Very spacious, comfy room with beautiful grounds right on the beach. The pool is lovely with shaded areas and the restaurant serves a wide range of delicious food. The staff were super helpful throughout my stay. I had just spent 3 weeks exploring the Philippines and this was the perfect way to end my trip. Sad I couldn't stay longer! It is about 45 mins from Jagna Port and also 2 1/2 hours from Panglao Airport. The accomodation arranged pick ups (for an added cost) which was very helpful. I highly recommend this property!

the staff was just great! they were flexible and very attentive to our requests. they even kindly arranged to transfer our things to another hotel that we accidentally left behind. garden was just amazing and the extra yoga classes were just great! we really enjoyed our stay.

This stay was perfect! My boyfriend asked me to mary me during our Philipin travel. So I asked to Island view resort if they could make the room romantich. So they did! And also they prepared a romantic diner, private space with fresh flowers at the sea side. It was amazing. What a kind and helpfull staff! This was also a big plus: we wanted to do the whale shark experience but they told us they dont advise it because it is really made by human. not really a natural habitat anymore. And because we are against animal entertainment made by human, we where really happy they told us the truth. So thanks again

Beautiful gardens - there's even a lookout tower with amazing views! The whole resort is so lovely - and also well-organized/planned (incl. bug screens on all windows). We felt very well taken care of by all staff members. One of the most wonderful places we've ever had the privilege to stay in.

Part of the street (between the Regional Road and the resort) is in an absolutely horrible condition - our rental car was not amused! We were told by staff that service in the restaurant was slow - indeed it was, but it was also professional and friendly.

The staff were super helpful and did everything to make our stay wonderful. The facilities were fabulous. Wonderful food from the restaurant, a great swimming pool overlooking the sea, and easy access to the reef for snorkelling. A clean and spacious room in wonderful grounds.

Nothing to do with the resort, but this is not the best swimming beach. Great for snorkelling but not for swimming from the beach.

This resort was absolutely amazing. A small chunk of paradise dropped into the Philippines. The staff were lovely, the food was simply out of this world. I would not hesitate to book this resort again.

The resort is remote. You can walk along the beach at low tide to the local village but if you are looking for lots of night life this resort is not for you. It's a place for quiet reflection and relaxation. Absolutely fabulous. I've been 24 hours away and I'm already missing what I had.

If you want, like us, to get away from the crowds of tourists, this hotel is wonderful! Two hours drive from the ferry to Anda and you will arrive at a hotel with a huge garden, an excellent pool, spacious and pleasant rooms and a stunning beach! The staff is excellent and the food in the restaurant is delicious and varied. Even a wine collection is found. We had a great time
