R&D was an oasis in what felt like a bit of a frontier town. Most travellers leave back in the direction they arrived. Our room (10) was very spacious, comfy bed, lovely warm shower, and clean. The complimentary brewed & instant coffee, tea, hot and cold drinking water was very welcome. The staff were very pleasant, helpful, and busy keeping the place clean and tidy. Clean sizable swimming pool. We rented a bike for 2 days (350p per day) it was the best way to get around but not essential as there were plenty of tuk tuks going past. Lamanok was worthy of a visit. We didn't have breakfast there as all three days we went to a restobar and accommodation called Zenith overlooking the bus terminal. On the first day we found Zenith served breakfast with wholewheat unsweetened bread (sugary bread seems to be ubiquitous in the Philippines) so we headed off there every morning (see Zenith google reviews). Other food options are the food park on the beach opposite the church and to the left of the municipal building also we ate at the Hangover Restobar.  We really recommend R&D and would use again. 

The selection of motor bike helmets are in need of updating, most had broken straps.  It would have been useful to have organised some laundry service. 

Great large clean room. Bathroom with hot shower and good water pressure. There is plenty of outside space, a good pool and its nice quiet location. Free tea, coffee and cold water. Fast WiFi, good aircon. Good idea to rent a scooter as it's a little bit of a trek into town. Great value for money with friendly staff.

Beware of the ants, don't leave any food or drinks, even wrappers. They will find it and bring ALL of their mates. Bed is a little firm and could do with a couple of non memory foam pillows, but that's just personal preference.

We loved the large clean family room. Both the room and the bathroom were super clean and comfortable. The pool was awesome for a quick dip and some water play with the kids. I also liked the free coffee station and the chat with some other guests over a coffee. Its on the main road into Anda, but set back a bit so it was quiet and peaceful once inside. They offered us a carport to park our rental car, which was great.

The room,the pool,the family running this establishment taking care of all my needs as this is my second visit in a year to this hotel.rooms are big as well plus quiet location and WiFi worked well. And great value for my money.

3 min drive to the centre of town and the main beach but not a problem had my scooter or its possible to rent one from them or just flag down a tricycle.

Great swimming pool, very clean and great temperature. The rooms are super big. Easy to go anywhere as it is in the main road. Great motorcycles.

A lot of spiders in the room, shower was not working, no water going out, so we had to use the cubes system to shower. Water was cold. The staff is nice but a bit messy, no one when we needed to talk to them. The day before leaving we asked them if they could arrange a tuk tuk to Jagna but they insisted in us taking a bus. We had to wait for 1,5h under the intense sun, as first they kept saying it was coming, then that it comes every hour, and then said “no bus”. We had to arrange a last minute tuk tuk.. We understand it’s not their fault however they could have managed it differently, as we were happy to pay a tuk tuk from the beginning.

Lovely clean and spacious rooms and the most comfortable bed and pillows. Slept like a baby! AC was great too (not too cold). Lovely veranda, small but clean pool and a tasty and extremely cheap breakfast could be provided. Friendly and helpful staff who live onsite.

It is a good 25 min walk to the beach and restaurants but there are a few Tuk Tuks going by or you can hire scooters which is what we did so it isn’t a problem.

This was my second time booking with them and we are definitely happy! Rooms was big and spacious for 4 person per room. Bathroom is spacious and is equipped with bidet, hot and cold shower. Bonus for the property since they have a pool for relaxing and swimming after a long day of exploring the area. Location was near the Cabagnow Cave Pool and Quinale Beach Restaurant (which also serves good food, btw!). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again for the 3rd time.

The host family is nice, and even invited us to a beauty pageant (which was a huge deal with a lot of people) Scooter rental for 350 php was very cheap and of good quality. We even got to borrow it for an hour after checking out for free! We had two 160 double beds which were comfortable and the sheets smelled lovely. Room was very good in size and had a small patio with two chairs and a table. The small pool was nice, with three sun chairs. The room got dark with the curtains. 15-20 minute walk to the main beach in Anda

The shower only had three settings for heat, 1 too cold and 2 burning. AC worked fine for the first two nights but during the third seemed to stop working. Only sheets as a bed cover. No soap, shampoo or anything for the bathroom. Dogs were cute but barked really insistently when someone came by the gates, neighbours and the family's kids also were loud in the mornings. This left us waking up early.

The location was perfect and everyone who worked there was very kind about me extending my stay. Fell in love with Anda so I’ll be back in the future. Great coffee and nice sized room
