We recently stayed at Villa Juan y Exequila in Anda, Bohol, and it was fantastic. The building is easy to find since it’s along the road. Just ask the bus driver or conductor to drop you off by the San Roque chapel. The villa is right next to the chapel. This place is very generous with what they provide. Unlike many places that offer sachets, Villa Juan y Exequila provides body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in bottle pumps from Dove or Watson’s—a well-known and trusted brand, along with bathroom tissue or toilet paper. Additionally, they give you two free 500 ml mineral water bottles, two Nescafe black coffee sticks, two creamers, and a heater for boiling water anytime, which is perfect for a big coffee drinker like me. Each floor has a water dispenser with room temperature water available for free, allowing you to refill your water bottles before heading out. Their bathroom also has a hot and cold shower, which was very convenient. You won’t go hungry here either, as there are numerous eateries and sari-sari stores in the vicinity. The market, bakery, beach, and water caves are all within walking distance. If you’re not in the mood to walk, there are motorbikes available for rent nearby, offering great convenience. The value for money is exceptional. You can choose between a fan or air-conditioned room. Initially, we opted for a fan room, but after seeing how nice and clean it was, we decided to upgrade to an air-conditioned room. The receptionist was very accommodating and had initially offered the upgrade upon check-in. Be sure to read the check-in guidelines as they require a ₱500 deposit for incidentals, which is understandable. They promptly returned our deposit after confirming the room was in good condition upon check-out. We left a generous tip for the cleaners—$2 USD or ₱100—and they were very happy.

Louisa was so kind, access to the beach and local food spots (all under 10mins walk away), locked motorcycle storage overnight, shower products provided, Aircon worked well. Pillow perfect for me, not too big or firm
No insect vent on the window/hold in the bathroom, only saw ants coming through though and they didn't go further than the bedroom - so it wasn't an issue for me

Even though we booked last minute they were responsive and made everything possible so that we could get in comfortably. We had to wait for a little bit, but we were in the room with no issues at all. They even had some free coffee in the room for breakfast and a kettle, really appreciated
It was great, but could have been a little cleaner

Everything. The hosts were amazing being so kind, caring and attentive. We loved everything about this accommodation that we stayed for extra nights. In a very good location just on the outskirts of the main area it provides comfort and quiet. The top of the building is a seated area for sunrise and sunsets. A very functional kitchen allows for cooking your own food - something we did a lot. The rooms are spacious, have great hot showers and are exceptionally clean. There is a kettle, fridge and crockery/cutlery. I'm If our visa was due to expire we would have stayed longer. There are local convenience shops and the beach and the cave are just a short walk away. Laundry services are available on site or hand wash and use the clothesline on the roof for drying. Scooter rental is below the accommodation. All in all we were made to feel part of the family and I would class this as a homestay. We miss the hosts dearly and hope to return again in the future. This was without doubt our best experience in the Philippines for accommodation coupled with location.

This place is absolutely amazing I have to say! The rooms are spottlesly clean and have everything you could wish for! The owners are very friendly and professional and cannot do enough for you. The rooftop area is a winner for me. You can watch the sunset with a red horse beer or 2 and then make use of the kitchen facilities and make your dinner using the fresh produce from the village! What more could you want!!
Nothing to dislike here!

The Villa is very nice. The room is Big and the beds is very confortable. The owner is a very kind Lady and Anda is an amazing village to stay few days. The beaches are very nice and you can go to the rice terraces, Waterfalls and Alice Panoramic Park from here. There is an agency closed to the Villa that hoy can rent motorbike or contract a tour.

We were offered to upgrade our room from the standard which was great. We had a big family room with the biggest bed I have ever seen! Comfortable big room complete with sofa. hot shower, nice toiletries, free water, plates, cups and utensils and a cooking area outside along with somewhere to dry your clothes. Nice rooftop area to sit. Only 5 mins walk to the centre for food and stores. Motorbike rental next door.

It is just walking distance from metro Anda. Even though my booking was on short notice, the staff was gracious to entertain me even if she was planning to go out of town for some errand. The place is also secured, with CCTV in the hallway. The room has its own preparation area for food, like a mini-kitchen.
