The host was very supportive.He even offered travel facilities and explained about what to explore in thekkedy. Moreover his parents cooked tasty traditional kerala breakfast . The hotel is located in prime area where you can find plenty of eatery stalls and periyar forest is just 300 m away to the hotel. One who wants to have homely type of experience forgetting the luxury , this hotel is for you.

Peacefully located, good clean hotel in the price range, with in-house food facility, although options were also available just in front. Comfortable stay with big clean room with a view, balcony and nice bathroom. Manager Mr. Younnus was helpful with safari rides and cultural programme arrangements. Family run property with every member trying to be helpful.

Nothing in particular but a suggestion - please provide two towels when two people stay. This I faced in few other hotels as well during our Kerala trip. To be clear, I didn't ask for the second towel though.

It was a wonderful stay at hotel Quadiriya Palace. I had booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and the rooms and bathrooms were clean with hot water facility and are budget friendly. They serve meals and tea/coffee on pre ordering the menu. The host Mohammed Yunoos was very supportive  and took care of all the ticket bookings for us and guided us on the itinerary during our stay. The hotel is at a prime location and is very close to the main market for shopping, bus stand and the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Also forgot to mention, the terrace of this hotel gives a wonderful scenic view for relaxed evening sit outs.  Me and my family will always cherish the wonderful memories made at this  hotel and town.

Nice clean rooms, friendly owner.. simple place with no frills but very good value for money. Our stay was very comfortable, they served fresh breakfast with tea. The place is right outside the Forest preserve and many shops/eateries nearby.

Very nice stay. Very clean and tidy place. Run by a very humble family. Mr.Yunoos will help you with everything you need. It's walkable distance from the periyar reserve ticket counter. He also arranged Kthakali tickets for us and was very calm in explaining everything to us. I would definitely stay here if I visit Thekkady again.

While everything was great about my stay, The Location has to be the best thing about this place. Located just outside of the Periyar Forest this hotel is at the heart of all activities in Thekkady. The host is super helpful. We went to thekkady kind of unplanned. But the host helped us plan everything, booked activities for us. it genuinely helps when your hotel host is also a Travel Guide.

No Complains

Especially top floor two rooms are very spacious and good sight seeing view as well. Walkable distance to boating, local show, resturants and entire family enjoyed the the stay.

We booked the room, facility and Yunoos the Son in law of the property owner. Who manage the property now is very friendly and available at all time. Good tour organiser, actually we went to Thekkady for Kannagi & Mangala Devi temple. He organised a jeep specially for us and it was memorable Darshan. Top of it we went on Ramadan time, so missed the breakfast tests of Mr John Basha and family. Overall it was best value for money with good care.

Owner is so humble and friendly, rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was really good, location is near to ticket counter for boating.

Breakfast was from outside. The location was perfect for my purpose.
