Incredibly beautiful interior, comfortable room, breathtaking views, lots of things to do, SPA is immaculate and the staff is very friendly and helpful with everything.

Food is the weak spot definitely. We were staying during the week and we had breakfast and dinner at the chateau. Everything coming from the kitchen was over-salted and drowning in oil. Store-bought-tasting dessert at dinner was a disappointment. Breakfast buffet was lacking fresh fruit and vegetables and any sort of cheese or meat selection. Coffee is ok and baked goods section is good though. Also the cleaning standards could be a bit higher considering it is a 4-star hotel, but overall it was clean enough. Also it would be nice to have a kettle and a coffee machine in the room.

The Hotel and the setting are just remarkably beautiful. The staff is very professional, experienced and helpful. The rooms are big, airy and well equipped. Every single detail is thought of. The facilities are excellent, including a well equipped spa and wellness centre, a nice outdoor swimming pool and bar, excellent restaurant cuisine and kids clubs with many outdoor activities, including tennis courts. The decoration is exceptional with hidden gems throughout. The owners were very welcoming. Overall our experience on a last minute booking was beyond our expectations, greatly enjoyed the experience.

The hotel totally exceeded our expectations. It's a true, huge castle with long history and absolutely beautiful restoration. A real dream wedding place and we already want to go back. One night was too short. They were also very welcoming to our small dog and there was even a sleeping bed for her in the room with the castle's embroidery on it.

Perhaps only the TV in the room could be upgraded to a bigger and more modern solution. Also I'd put effort into making sure that all light bulbs are warm white, not cold white. In the castle I think it makes a lot of sense to keep this older style warmer look.

English speaking staff, very warm and polite for the clients. Big appartment with imagine interior like from old times. A lot of places for walking and enjoy the nature with well preparing grass and flowers! Tasty restaurant with tables at evening with candles, so nice and romantic atmosphere))) Comfortable bed with a lot of pillows. Vine is one of the best that I tried.

Not clear where you could park car if on the first and second park no available place. It would be a better some small map or direction.

Magnific localisation, excellent wine, magnific facilities. The hotel is really, really beautyful, as the furnitures inside. The swiming pool outside is large, clean, and our kids really enjoyed it. Resting around and enjoying the view on the campain was a pleasure...We felt like in toscane. The place for the diner and the lunch was beautyful as well. Last but not least, the sport room is awesome with all the equipement you can wish. The place is really big with other facilities to enjoy (cinema room, billard with old african decoration, etc.)

Even if 98% percent of the staff were very pleasant and helpful, some person could improved their social skills. The bedroom was really nice but the pillows could be improved. But this wont prevent us to come back as soon as we can!

Staff of this hotel would outstand in any 5* hotel in the world. Their helpfulness, kindness and - last but not least - proffessionality was amazing. This si not always the case - in this region. Excellent cuisine, inspiring historical premises suitable for relax, beautiful park and garden... We did not have time to try the wellness, unfortunately.

The only issue was the absence of the wifi signal - that did not reach to our room at all. The room was high in one of the chateau’s ancient towers, otherwise very nicely located. But staying beyond reach of the of wireless internet was quite annoying, this is something what should probably be worked on and fixed by the technicians.

You drive into this little town and there it is: A hidden gem that's just waiting to be discovered. The castle is beautiful and well maintained. You are greeted with a smile and surrounded by friendly & courteous staff. Stroll around the wide garden and have a look at the animals in the back. The spa is intimate with a sauna, a steam bath and a relaxation room. There is also a room with ping pong, billiard and games if you feel like it. We booked half board and our tastebuds were bathing in awe. Think waiters with white gloves that serve you a delectable 3 course menu composition from the right side. Also their own wines were delicious and we had a hard time picking a favourite. We were happy that we could bring our dog too and would visit again.

Wow. I know I'm into these kind of hotels but everytime I think I saw all of them, there's something new and special. This jewel is located somewhere in the middle of nowhere. In the fine vineyards and green hills close to the old hungarian capital of Esztergom. Perfect for a long term stay and day trips. or just sitting there and relaxing. - Extraordinary location - great wine from own vineyards - huge, comfortable, quiet rooms - huge house, huge garden with outdoorpool, large Sauna. You can move freely. Into the old saloon, the bar, on the balcony, the catacombs, all is open, all smells of history - friendly staff who knows about what they're doing (Wine knowledge) - very good breakfast

why I was struggling between rating the hotel with 8 and not 9? Just nuances: - altough you didn't recognize all the people there during the day, it became overcrowded at the breakfast pretty fast. Waiting columns, quite little space there. and the tables were not all clean. - 2 glasses of wine in the bar costed us more then buying a whole bottle to take with us. and I'm talking of the house wine. - parking is a little bit chaotic. the 2 major places are pretty small and with people on it who're not able to park their big cars it was even smaller. We chose to park somewhere next to a tree inside the hotel garden - but it was also fine

The property was very clean and had a great atmosphere. We got a free upgrade for our room (2 levels above what we booked), the staff was brilliant, everybody was polite and very keen, they were very helpful with our late checkout as well. The Services are top notch, including the spa, the pool and the massage therapy. Food was very delicious, made of locally produced ingredients.

Dream like stay, it is literally living in a museum. Perfect location, beautiful surroundings, and mesmerizing castle with its all glory. We had a great stay and wonderful time. This was highlighted with kind staff “specially Barbara at reception desk” who were always helpful and resourceful. Absolutely recommended.
