In the heart of Slovenia countryside with wonderful cycling trails. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They smiled and chatted with me and that is unusual for non native English speakers. I went there to explore by bike and that’s what I did. Luka looked after me with a bike fitted to my need and he created cycling trails that suited my level of fitness. With Luka’s help I got to see amazing scenery that I would have never seen on my own. I great bonus was the hotel washed my cycling clothes over night so I always had a fresh kit for the next day. The restaurant was excellent and the view from my room was splendid.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I went out of my way to stay there because of the motorcycle connection. I was not disappointed. Not the cheapest hotel in Slovenia but with all the comforts and facilities you would expect in a main city centre hotel. The huge restaurant is very impressive with excellent food. Secure motorcycle was an attraction for me and the bike washing facilty a welcome bonus. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant staff didn't seem quite as engaging as the hotel staff but I put this down to them speaking in a foreign language.

Our second stay here. I am even planning a separate special dedication trip to enjoy few days at this hotel 😀. Such a nice place! Clean, comfortable and very functional, kind of relax friendly. The staff is very professional, there is a beautiful view from thw balcony! No smells of cigarets etc. You can hike arround beautiful hills. Biiiiig bathroom and shower room. Wonderful restorant and cafee at the place. Very affordable prices. Thank you!

Excellent breakfast, lots of variety. Exceptional staff in all areas, so friendly and always trying to help. We went to Hotel Grof to ride bikes and the riding is lovely and varied, bike storage and transport is perfect, fantastic easy to follow routes, minimal traffic. Cycling clothes washing done efficiently and free of charge. We felt really welcomed and valued, highly recommend. We have special dietary requirements and the staff always tried to help accommodate them.

The hotel is nicely decorated with the details such as little drawings at the bottom of the walls, which make it special. We really enjoyed our stay there. It is nice to get up in the morning and have a view of nature, although the hotel itself is situated not far from the highway, anf thus easily reachable.

The breakfast area is actually a caffe that seems to be visited also by outside guests, making it quite crowded and loud at times. On our first day we showed up for breakfast only to find the entire area full, so we had to wait. Luckily the staff told us we could sit in the restaurant area, which is cosy.

We recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness was impeccable; everything was spotless and well-maintained. The room was not only clean but also extremely comfortable, providing a relaxing environment for a good night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a clean, comfortable stay with excellent breakfast offerings

One of the best experience in a hotel! Excellent combination of functionality with comfort. Very professional team working there, the staff is so supportive in everything you will need. Clean rooms, good beds, nice surroundings for walk with scenery! Food - what a breakfast! Also the restoran by the hotel - is worth a driving only to eat there!

Too short stay

The decor, furnishings and artwork were all well presented and it felt very upscale. The beds were comfy and there was good lighting in the room. The breakfast was awesome! So much choice and everything delicious with only one day there I didn’t get a chance to try everything.

The restaurant was the weakest part of our stay. The food was not the best quality. At least what we had , we did not have pizza but maybe that would have been better.

- silence and relaxing surroundings - the best receptionist we've ever interacted with (Natalia), she provided us a lot of useful information and was open to all our questions and concerns - interesting concept of barhroom - overall it was clean with some points to improve here and there - sauna for four was very nice, the room is only for you and it's equipped with lots of towels, they have also arranged a small snack with fruits, tea and water. - decent restaurant, I think there were different chefs and some were better than others - diversified breakfast, decent but not exceptional. Coffee was so bad, but the espresso was great instead.

- the sauna coats were not clean, either not washed at all either not properly washed - a misunderstanding regarding one meal followed by some discussions with one of the waiters which were finally handled professionally by Natalia

As always perfect breakfast, great location nearby the highway, parking lot, a plenty for free, big rooms with comfortable bed, almost noiseless air conditioner. aaaaand the Restaurant superlative courses FANTASTIC FOOD!!*****+
