The host Katja was very welcoming, and was very cognizant of the fact that we had two very young children with us (she arranged a portable crib, changing station, high chairs, infant tub and a baby lounger/rocker for us to use). The property was beautiful and well kept, with our unit having its own private garden. I also liked that we had a useable kitchen and could cook breakfast a few times. The property was clean and comfortable too. It was important to us to be able to leave early and come back late (as we were exploring and had many adventures) and safety and privacy was never a concern for us. Thank you, we will be back!

I cannot thank Katia the owner enough for her help while moving. Everything was just perfect even a enclosed garden for my dog Issey. I had to leave her on her own while moving and Katia fetched her and even fed my very stressed Top Pom. May your guesthouse be blessed with many guest as it is the only place that will provide everything while on holiday or moving. Thanks again⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Blue Cottage at the African Palm Cottage and Guest House is well-proportioned and comfortable. The patio area outdoors is the perfect place to enjoy a meal and a glass of wine on a warm evening. The pool area is beautiful and feels like you’re in a jungle. The property is exceptionally well located for anyone wanting to visit the Durbanville wine route, and it’s a great location for reaching a variety of other wine regions - 40-45 minutes or so from both Stellenbosch, Paarl and Constantia.

The quality of some items in the property could be improved - for example, mattresses and cutlery.

Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Nice quiet location. Beautiful garden and pool area Traveling as two couples we were fortunate to have the two upstairs rooms and shared lounge and beverage station. Friendly hosts.

The spaciousness of our cottage and the fact it was fully kitted out and had a garden with table chairs and sun loungers. Just a very well thought out home away from home. The owners were exceptionally kind and accommodating of our dog.
