The pictures in the internet don't do justice to the property. It is a beautiful historical building with all modern amenities and high speed wifi. The room allotted to us was spacious, clean and had hygienic bathroom. The bed and bath linen were clean. We slept comfortably. The staff and caretaker are all warm and caring people. Unfortunately for us it was only a one night stay but they took good care of us.In the morning we got warm breakfast.The property is located at walking distance to restaurants and shops. It is safe and so calm, quite.

Enjoyed a pleasant stay at de Wingerd. The decor was nicely done, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The swimming pool area was a nice spot to relax, and the location was convenient, with quaint shops and good restaurants just across the street. The room had all the comforts we needed, including a quality mattress. Overall, a solid and enjoyable experience.

One minor point worth mentioning is the breakfast timing; it begins at 07:00, and the preparation of the order starts then. It would have been more convenient for us to leave earlier. Perhaps considering having some ready-to-go options like muffins or croissants for early departures would be a nice touch.

Everything. The place was clean, comfortable, with many modern amenities. Loved that there was an aircon , and the bed was super comfortable. Lovely bathroom as well. High ceilings in the room, which are my favourite. Flowers outside were also really nice, and the location was great.

The original hardwood floors creak a lot, which makes waking up in the night to use the bathroom a noisy affair for anyone you're sharing the room with. The dinner plates also didn't fit in the microwave, so we had to use side plates.

Something got lost in translation on your online system. I’m a solo traveller who travels with my pet dogs. I booked a cottage for this reason when I went online. However, the booking was somehow translated to 2 adults and a child in a superior room. Confusing. Not ideal for someone who booked with dogs in a pet friendly bnb.

Situated in the heart of the tourist part of town. This meant easy walking to eateries and tourist shops. Easy access to N9 and N1. The room was beautiful with a mix of modern and traditional. The air conditioning was the quietest we have come across. It is pet friendly and the grounds were lovely and made you want to stay longer. The hostess was charming and welcoming.

B&B in a very nice historic and well maintained building. Large comfortabele room, with a separate kitchenette. Spaceous bathroom with a bath and a separate shower unit. Rooms were very clean.Tasty English breakfast served on the patio. Lovely large swimming pool with enough space around it. Very friendly staff.

The entrance to the bathroom through a sliding door on a rail is less practical and noisy.

We didn't have breakfast, but there was not a single thing wrong with his venue. We travel a lot and stay at many venues and this one was really excellent. The manager contacted us by phone a few hours before arrival and was present within seconds of our arrival. Friendly and professional.

Not applicable. The creaking floors go perfectly with a building that is a hundred years old. I am a drone videographer and offered to do a feature video for the venue only to find that Graaff Reinet is a drone "NO FLY" zone. We have already posted a recommendation on our social media page (130,000 followers / 5 million post views a month)

The decor and the antique furniture were so natural and tasteful and blended in with, as well as enhanced, the historical feel of the town. I fell in love with the doors and window shutters as well. The house is also comfortably ensconced by greenery. Very pretty! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious enough for our needs. The bathroom was nice and clean and the shower was amazing.

De Wingerd is a gorgeous place to stay. The staff were wonderful and the location was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Super impressed with the care and attention that has gone into this B&B.

We booked two rooms - 4 & 6. The room outside of the main house was really spacious and exceeded our expectations. The room inside the main house disappointed somewhat in comparison. Not a train smash, but noticeable.

Beautiful home in a central location. Close to some wonderful shops and restaurants. The room was modern and comfortable, got shower, small kitchenette and a door that opened onto the pool area. Quiet and peaceful.

The only disappointment was that we were not made aware in advance that we had to book breakfast. I could not find any information about this on the booking.com website nor was this communicated to us by the property.
