The bed and pillows were very comfortable, plenty of hot water, big bedroom and bathroom. All the staff were very welcoming, pleasant and helpful.

The hotel needs a considerable amount of updating. Our bedroom was very “tired” - curtains to be replaced, paintwork and paintwork all needs attention, cracked tiles and poor paintwork in the bathroom. Mired shade required round the pool area.

Wonderful views, good breakfast, great room. Fantastic restaurant, excellent food.

The place needs a bit of TLC. Outdoor patio tables look terrible, and badly needs to be re-painted.

Room - The room was neat and clean. It actually looked better than in the pictures. Breakfast - Breakfast was really good! The Staff was also very friendly. View - The view was good, but not much of a view from the hot tub.

Dinner Voucher - As dinner was included in our daily rate, I expected that we would have dinner on both nights during our stay. The Hotel however, only gave us a voucher for one night. The hot tub was nice but we weren't assisted with setting it up or given proper instructions. We were told to make a fire and leave it for two hours, after which the water was boiling hot.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel has a fine dining restaurant and we had every meal here because it was just so good. It is beautifully located with stunning views of the bay. The owner is very kind, passionate and professional. So is every single staff member we encountered. We highly recommend this venue. 15 min walk to sharks bay where you can go for a swim. And easy access to the gate for the national park at Langebaan which is near sharks bay.

We had nothing to complain about.

Comfortable beds and a nice space. The restaurant is lovely. The bar and pool table make for a very sociable atmosphere - we had extended family with us and enjoyed watching the rugby at the bar! The staff is warm and welcoming. The scones and tea are a nice touch.

We did need to call in maintenance to fix a couple of issues in our room, but they were quick and efficient. Aircon would be a lovely addition to the rooms. A couple of staff members were a little bit rude about service - we ordered scones for five people and only four of us were there at the time - she told us we would have to pay extra for the person who had not arrived yet. I tried to explain but in the end let her charge what made her happy. Breakfast can be very slow, same watron (very unfriendly) and another who said she could not take our order because she didn’t have any experience. I appreciated her honestly. Overall a beautiful place with a lovely staff.

A beautiful old farm house with so much character and stunning views! The staff were super friendly and helpful. A nice cosy bedroom and wonderful restaurant to have dinner and breakfast in. The food was top quality. Also, loved the tea and homemade scones in the late afternoon, such a great touch! The whole setting was fantastic! Will certainly stay there again!

Some things were a bit old, doors and the bathroom. I know they must have challenges regarding it being an old property and having to protect some of the heritage, but some modern amenities should still be looked at. The door to the bedroom was difficult to unlock and lock and the bathroom could be made more modern. The pool was quite small, but these are just small things.

Room and view was beautiful. Bed is so comfortable and the rooms were nice and warm when we arrived. Breakfast was very good with yummy coffee, the free afternoon scones were a nice touch.

Some help lighting the hot tub fire would have been nice as I did mention how excited I was to use it and I didn’t realize I would struggle for 3 hours with wet wood to light it as I had not used one before. Electricity was not working for some parts of day 2 (approx 2 hours) as they had to switch off the power while installing the inverters - so couldn’t warm our lunch and make coffee, the electricians outside our room were whistling songs and singing loud for a few hours during the installation. A lot of workers walking past the room spoils the hot tub privacy somewhat.

The food was exceptional and the staff at the restaurant were amazing. The farmhouse was very well decorated and maintained in a quaint farmhouse style which was really great. The lagoon views from the hotel and the rooms was exceptional and the staff were all very friendly. The location is excellent!!! It is far enough away from the hussle and bussle of Mykonos and close enough to all the main beach and the very nice "hidden" beach, Shark Bay. I will 100% stay at this hotel again.

The pool turned green after day one, it would have been nicer had the pool staff managed to maintain this a bit better. The fan in the room was not quite powerful enough, perhaps a ceiling fan would be better than the standing type.

view, breakfast. the only disappointing aspect was when we checked in we were told that we could not eat dinner in the hotel, as the restaurant was fully booked. I think you need to inform your guests before arrival of the options and when booking advise to book the restaurant or at least explain that it is run separately and that you have to book it we arrived at 8 and wanted dinner, we had to leave the hotel and drive to a beach bar, that was not a good start. but other than that it was a lovely stay, the hot tub was a bonus too,

We were offered a spa treatment(not complimentary but special price - 1 person per room per stay). We had to book with reception which we did. They accepted our reservation for this - the one we were prepared to pay full prize and also confirmed the times - directly after each other. About 1 hour after our departure on our daytrip we received a call from Reception saying that they made a mistake, that they cannot accomodate us at that time - when asked if we can book for another timeslot they said that they were fully booked. It was quite a disappointment for us
