The host, Jeremy, was excellent in his communication, requesting and providing information. We only stayed for one night, arriving late and leaving early, so there was no reason to complain about anything.

The word "cottages" created the impression that it was standalone units and not necessarily part of the house. It wasn't a problem, as we only stayed one night, but it was a bit of a surprise.

The cottage is really beautiful. The neat houses circle around a Pool within a beautiful garden. The interior is well chosen and works perfectly with the environment. The rooms and the common area were super clean and room service was on point every day. Jeremy and his team are so warmhearted and welcoming, felt more like coming home than coming to a hotel after a 12 hour flight. Breakfast was great! The cottage is inside a gated community, so also pretty safe and close to the Malelane Gate, the two golf courses and great restaurants. Will come again for sure!

Excellent location right next to Malelane gate. Breakfast was good, I loved the omelette the ladies made. The rooms are well decorated and comfortable - ours was cheetah themed. Jeremy also communicated well with us about arrival (we arrived a little late). Would have been a bonus to be able to get more information that would help our self drive in that area of Kruger but that's not really an expectation.

The room was immaculate and well-presented, modern, and tastefully decorated. The online photos do real justice to the room. The bathroom is well-equipped and has a very nice and spacious shower.

There was no kitchen sink and one had to fill the kettle in the bathroom. The kitchenette is extremely basic and has very little cutlery and utensils. The view from the room is limited ( directly faces the driveway and vehicles). On arrival no reception had to phone the owner to get access, directions to the unit, and keys.

Great host, comfortable beds and super close to Kruger's gate. The room was spacious, had aircon and a kitchen, which was very useful for us. It's located in a very safe neighborhood with lots of beautiful trees around. It's perfect for those arriving after the gate closure. We left at 5 am to get in the park early and our host had some fruits and breakfast arranged for us to take with us. 100% recommend it.

Only thing that could be better is the internet service but I have realized this is a regular problem across SA and not an issue related to this specific area/property.

Breakfast good. staff very good, friendly and helpful. Well maintained, clean, organised and very comfortable. Very well situated to the entrance to the park and close to the villlage of Malelane which is convenient. The owner Jeremy exceptionally helpful, accomodating and went out of his way to help us.

Jeremy is a fantastic host and made sure we were looked after extremely well. The staff preparing the breakfast are so courteous. I have to make special mention of Mirriam, who prepares the most wonderful omelets and Eggs Benedict! She is an absolute gem!

Nothing at all to not like.

Overnighted at Mhlati Cottages before entering Kruger National Park during December. Very impressed with the service, stay and the location of the Mhlati cottages only a stone throw away from the Malelane gate. Ideally located and equipped for anyone that would like to travel into Kruger as a day visitor or as a overnight stop before entering. The breakfast offered was also excellent.
