Excellent service from the team at Kruger Eden Lodge. Natalie, the manager, was very friendly and helpful and advised us about the nearby walk along the Crocodile River where we saw 10 hippos, crocodile, elephants, waterbuck, kudu and impala! The resident chef cooked us a delicious meal, which we were able to enjoy on the patio with close views of Wildebeest and Warthog. The room was furnished to a high standard and very clean.

The lady at the reception was very kind and helpful to us. From the day we arrived and especially on Sunday when our car broke down before we could leave, she did everything to get us help and we managed to start the car and go back home. The staff was. Nice,they clean up so good and this one guy that was cleaning our room didn't mind taking Pictures of us as we were viewing the place .the food (breakfast) was amazing, we could eat as much as we wanted, the kitchen staff was nice and made us feel free and comfortable. The then newly renovated shower in our room was our highlight ,soo perfect

I spent four wonderful days in this lodge in mid-June with my wife and 9-year-old son. The lodge is immersed by nature and the surrounding atmosphere is truly fascinating. During an afternoon walk in the Marloth park (where the lodge is located) we were lucky enough to meet a couple of giraffes! But it is also normal to have breakfast with a group of impalas in front of you. Our suite was very clean and spacious, with a charming appearance. The same can be said for all the other spaces in the lodge. The breakfast offers a wide choice, able to satisfy every palate. A warm greeting to Joseph, the chef, who prepared delicious dinners for us, including the braai: a unique experience, to try! Finally, a huge thank you to Natalie who helped us organize several activities, giving us the opportunity to live an unforgettable experience. Her support was truly exceptional. I recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Natalie was an outstanding host who was super responsive both before and during our trip. She organised all the airport transfers and tours to the national park for us. All of the staff at the lodge were lovely and always so helpful. The food was amazing and very good value for money. There's a small gym on site which is great and the gardens surrounding our self-catered bungalow were beautiful with lots of animals! Everything was very comfortable and the bungalow was finished to a great standard with a fabulous shower. It felt very safe within Marloth Park and there's a nice path along the river that you can walk on and see into the park. We would definitely recommend staying here!!

We had an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, Natalie was exceptional — always attentive, helpful, and extremely professional. The entire team was wonderful: polite, friendly, confident, and kind. The accommodation is comfortable, safe, and the internet worked perfectly the entire time. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent and exceeded our expectations. The location is also fantastic — very close to the entrance gate for the Safari, which made everything very convenient. A special highlight goes to Natalie, who went above and beyond: I had forgotten my jacket in the Safari vehicle, and she managed to retrieve it in less than an hour! Honestly, this place has become one of our favorites. Natalie, thank you so much for your warm welcome, and our sincere thanks to your amazing team. Lara and I wish you all the very best!

Not having stayed longer

The stay was conveniently located near the Kruger National Park. All facilities were in excellent condition. Rooms were super clean. The staff were helpful and warm. It has a short hike of its own to the crocodile river. You'll spot a few Impalas, Zebras, Kudus, Warthogs, and more on the way. Best spot to catch the sunrise. Natalie is an amazing host. She ensured we were comfortable for our night safari, helped us with warm blankets. Right from my fasting requirement, adapters, dinner, timings, shuttle, and everything was on point. Special mention to the Braai in the Booma, what an experience. The chef and the servers were careful about our food choices(we are Indians who eat non-veg but not beef) and kept us engaged throughout. Another shoutout to the washrooms, designed thoughtfully. You'll also love the linen spray, and I bet carry one bottle along with you. We were satisfied that we chose Kruger Eden Lodge.

This lodge in Marloth Park is the perfect getaway! Conveniently located at the park’s entrance, it offers both comfort and easy access to nature. The staff were incredibly welcoming, with a special shout-out to the chef for the amazing food! The rooms were modern and stylish, beautifully contrasting with the rugged bush surroundings. The peaceful sound of the Crocodile River made the stay even more magical. Wildlife sightings were a treat, adding to the unforgettable experience.

The Kudu and warthogs in the garden were brilliant to watch from our room and from breakfast area. Easy walk to fence overlooking Crocodile river. Food is excellent, both breakfast and dinner, Joseph the chef really went the extra mile and Natalie was very helpful and efficient. We were very grateful that Natalie arranged for a staff member to do us a load of laundry, which we left out in the morning and it nicely washed and ironed and delivered back to our room in the evening, again excellent service.

The only minor issue was that the room came with a safe, but we decided not to use it as it was not bolted down to anything.

The staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for Natalie and Joseph. They made our trip wonderful. It was like having a family in South Africa! We went to a different hotel after the Kruger Eden Lodge and it just didn't compare. We were spoilt by Joseph, he is the best cook in the world! The Braais were fabulous. Natalie helped organised all our activities, she was very reactive and always so nice. We also loved seeing the wild animals roaming in the grounds, and even hearing hippos at dinner from behind the fence at Kruger. What an amazing experience.

Not something we disliked, but there isn't much to do for children at the lodge.

Very conveniently situated, close to the Crocodile Bridge Gate, as well it’s at the entrance of Marloth Park and close to the local shops. Very safe and beautiful looking.

All good, except they must improve on food offering and varieties as well as pricing, we found the cost of breakfast and dinner extremely high, which would put people away or to look for alternative restaurants etc. The quality of the food was good and Chef Joseph was brilliant!
