This place is truly a hidden treasure. You wouldn't expect a tropical feel and look in the middle of the bushveld. The views and gardens are breathtaking. The rooms were comfortable and ideal. The pool area with the chairs was lovely. The food was good. Holo, was amazing and assisted us so well

Alfred, the one staff member was rude while we were checking out at reception. There was a lot of confusion on their end, especially when it came to adding things to the correct room tab. However the whole situation could've been handled in a better manner and with patience and kindness

The service rendered by the staff, mapula, Rachel and palesa made it seamless... The table set up and assistance from other staff members like Piet and mxolisi made the birthday celebration for our husbands worth it... The reception guy, forgot his name was also very friendly.. I'm a Shangri-la smitten traveler so I'll always make sure each year I make a booking.

It was very cold and there were no extra blankets in the rooms.. aircons not functioning well and having to bath with cold water.. was given room 510 .. didn't meet the standard we expected. It was too small, the bathroom I'll rate it a 1, the bathtub was too small and I couldn't fit in it...

The lovely hideaway near Modimolle. It's a perfect summer spot for pool and water stream fun, but the fireplace and majestic trees create a cozy atmosphere even in cooler months. The staff were excellent, and Piet was particularly helpful, lending me two wine glasses! The scenic food path leading to the restaurant, although with many steps, was worth the walk. Breakfast was delicious, with the chef preparing special treats just for us. Thanks to Mr. NICO for the blankets

I had a bit of trouble finding the reception. There wasn't enough signage or clear directions to guide me to the front desk. Hopefully, this feedback can help improve the experience for future guests.

I loved the breakfast and the breakfast staff very efficiently, friendly and clean. Their breakfast always varies from day to day, always cooked to perfection. I love the reception staff Palesa and Mapule they go above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our rooms and the service. The bar staff, Andrew and Elizabeth, especially Andrew they provided the best service with a smile on their faces. Maintenance stuff Mr Oupa doesn't take time to respond to any any queries or complaints friendly too. Chef William makes food laced with love and passion. Every meal made by him is an experience one never gets enough. We left wanting more . Last but not least, the actual venue is exactly what we saw in the pictures very serene secluded beautiful music beautiful to take walks on and enough amenities, a surprise of monkeys here and there not to mention privacy and safety. My partner and I really loved it there and are definitely going back soon.

The manager Shadrach is very rude makes guest uncomfortable and extremely biased. The cleaning staff that was cleaning rooms from 200 barely cleaned nor changed the sheets. Our room didn't have a bathroom mat they only cleaned the shower and the toilet but left the basin as is.

What i liked the most about the property was how it blended in so greatly with its surroundings and how nature felt at every corner while maintaining a dash of modernism. They have plenty of nice attractions like the well built pool, the gardens, even a mini golf course, volleyball court, plenty of beautiful water ponds and great aesthetics and a fantastically designed restaurant and bar. The staff was however the main highlight of the whole establishment from the security guards to the chefs everyone was as friendly as can be you can tell they genuinely care whenever you converse with them. Always smiling and greeting all cheerfully, I’ve been to many places but there staff was the nicest and most hospitable i have ever encountered.

Nothing everything was well maintained and regularly cared for maybe how its far from the town

Breakfast buffet was great, and sufficient. We liked our room however the merging of 2 single beds was uncomfortable. Would have preferred a normal double bed. Dinner was amazing, for 2 nights there we had dinner. We opted for a massage at the spa, and that has been the best decision ever. Leana was amazing and we would certainly return and do the massage again.

The breakfast was really good and a large selection in the buffet. The staff were attentive and kind, they responded immediately to any concerns we had. The hotel was kept clean and comfortable, it was very peaceful.

In our room the bathroom tap was leaking, which should be looked at because the leak was quite bad. The geyser was very hot so we accidentally burned ourselves because it was too hot. It would be nice if there was more staff on hand, the staff were working in all areas in the hotel. They were all very attentive, but they seemed overworked so I hope that more staff are employed to help with this.

The place is quite and refreshing, the photos and information on the booking. Com was very accurate, I and my people we really enjoyed and wish to come back again

The reception lady who was working in the morning on the 9th of February was very rude together with Aaron guy with dreadlocks, they accused us of something we didn't know and that was very bad after we had a good stay, they didn't have a phone to make a call if you are in need of something and their app was not functioning well.

Excellent food. Very friendly staff. Loved the stay. Beautiful. Very clean outside in the garden.

Except for small things that you can improve on we loved the stay. We stayed 2 nights and only received 2 small bottles of water for the weekend. Can give 2 more bottles. Room states Shampoo no shampoo in our room. 2 sachets of ricoffee and powder milk. For a Hotel/spa better coffee and fresh milk could be given. Some aircons are not working. After all we were happy with our stay.

The peaceful, beautiful gardens, stunning interior, and extremely friendly, helpful staff, nothing we asked for, was too much for them. They went out of their way to accommodate all our needs.

We were disappointed in the breakfast, as I read raving reviews on how great it is, but we were told that due to the low number of bookings during our stay, they did not do a full buffet, which is understandable, but still had to pay R700 for 4 people. We had Fruit & Yoghurt, scones, Egg, bacon, sausage, beans, toast @ R175 pp. Dinner was amazing though from the menu.
